20" x 11" wheels from vicrez that has a -2.5mm offset to help give it the factory fitment. Tires 305/35R20

@charliebernis177 I went with 20x11 22mm offset rear and 20x9.5 18mm offset in the front 275/40/20 and 295/35/20 in the rear. Do you think that's a good fitment plus I'm lowered as well.

@@DatDaytonaPersona That shouldn't be too bad it just won't look as meaty or filled out as the factory, but the plus side is that you will rub less up front. Rear should be no problem. If you cut enough on the car and cut enough off the kit (near the top of the tire to match what was cut on the car) you should have no problems if you ever go to the wider wheel all around. With the 9.5's up front you may not even have to cut but I would just make sure of that. It's all definitely a commitment

Not with my work schedule at the moment but if you're serious I may know someone who can do it that's followed my video to do their own car, and does it on the side.

Honestly, it's work. I should have cut a little more when I first did it bc I did have some rubbing on certain roads with big dips and things like that so it did sort of take away some of the drivability. It got a ton of looks and compliments all the time but I also kept it in a garage and drove it on the weekends bc I had another vehicle. So if thats your situation then go for it. But if its your daily and you're also hesitant to cut on it, maybe dont do it lol. I only had to reapply tape on one fender one time other than that my kit had great contact and didnt act like it wanted to come off. It was just the little rubbing that actually bothered me.

Because the widebody cars from the factory have the appropriate space considerations and the narrow bodies do not. I committed long before purchasing the kit that if I would do the widebody kit that I would cut the car so that the tires would not rub on the body. Basically, if the car is lowered, the tires would constantly rub on the kit and car without cutting.

The body lines should be the same but you would have to confirm how it would fall/look on the sides of the bumpers since the SXT bumpers are different

I was wondering the same thing until he mentioned for clearance. If he drops the stance more, he will need that clearance.

Yes like @dlasti said, needed for clearance. Tires come out past the fender and the car is lowered so you'd basically just rub the entire time. This was a fun project, loved the look, and car got lots of attention, but you have to fully commit to altering your factory vehicle before doing this. Its not for everyone!

I purchased mine all together but certainly would get the wheels mounted prior to install that way once you’re done it all looks correct right when you hit the road. Also, I’d cut a little more if you commit to it 🙌🏽

Nope nothing. All I did was install the wheels and tires, went home and did this video, everything else was factory fit.

That is a good idea! This project was for the people who couldn't necessarily afford that purchase and already had an RT or scat with some equity and was bold enough to go for it 👍

The cutting certainly helped. Of course there is a little rubbing but a lot of it depends on your road conditions and driving

Man honestly I would just enjoy your GT. Lower it as low as you can and just pimp it. I say that for the sake of resale value. You wont get back any extra money that you dump into the car later on

@@Po1300lsd 100%, they stopped producing all of their hemis and big engines in 2023 so any one of those you would get would certainly hold more value than any of their V6 models 👍

The reason I cut so little is so I could keep as many tabs to clip into along the wheel base as possible. The tape is basically just holding the top side to the car. Haven't moved on me

@@charliebernis177 I would recommend to be cautious. I have a Challenger and I installed a hellcat style spoiler. The kit came with 3m tape. In the summer the heat melted the tape and the spoiler was only being held by 2 bolts. So just be careful and check periodically it’s sound.
