Installing carbon fiber spoiler and J's racing style side skirt. Update: I have a video that I have made on the J's racing side skirt and the fitment is terrible. Hi everyone! I'm still here if you're wondering where I have been. It's been a while since my last upload. I have a few more items I want to work on the car and will be working on the car again once the weather gets warmer. Thank you to everyone that have watched my videos and I hope you enjoy th...

S2000 | Chip Guards

I will be installing MegaChip guards for the S. This was needed since the wider wheel is slinging debris and hitting the fenders and bumpers. Hopefully this will protect the fenders and bumper from further damage. You can purchase the chip guards here. megachipusa.com/products/s2000-chip-guards
I'm assuming the rear diffuser will only work for oem rear bumpers to get the best fitment?
@@phillipmoon4778 correct, it was made for OEM bumpers.
Did you upgrade you factory speaker, mines sound like crap
@@antoinenewton2237 I did not. Factory speakers are never good. I'm sure even a cheap upgraded speaker will sound better, but it will be limited to the factory head unit which doesn't have a ton of power.
Where did you order the side skirts?
@@jjh.v I bought it from carbon creation. I wouldn't recommend it as you will have to do a lot of work to make it fit right.
I had the JDP front lip and ducktail, both are equaly as beautyful as the diffuser but the fitment was really bad. Carbon fiber is very hard to adjust to the car and if its not 98%+ you're gonna have a bad time. I sold my parts on because esp. the ducktail was really uneven and needed serious fabrication to get to a 90% fitment at best.
@@MilesDeluxe agreed, the fitment could be better and it's really hard to work with. From a distance it doesn't look too bad.
I have one on my 05. Its awesome especially after 5,000 miles
Thanks for making these helpful informative videos! Keep them coming. Do you have an Instagram?
@@Jayn911 you're welcome! I'm glad you find it useful. I have an IG, but I don't post often.
were you able to screw in the front bottom part of fender liners (near where you cut) back into the bumper with the splitter there?
@@marctiu7109 I did not, I just tucked between the splitter and the bumper and it sit pretty tight.
@@ducducgoose thank you! Was it necessary to remove the center plastic piece in front of the radiator? Will you be able to install the quick release brackets to the frame if that plastic piece was there?
@@marctiu7109 I didn't include in this video, but after speaking with other s2000 owners they recommended adding that piece (air guide) back for better cooling. So I added back after I've made this video.
@@ducducgoose I actually want to leave mine because I read the same too. How does that center plastic shroud attach to the car? Is it in the same place where the splitter bracket attaches to the frame?
@@marctiu7109are you referring to the air guide? If so it mount to the same place where you put the metal brackets for the diffuser. Might have to finesse to get it to fix right
Nice job bro 💪 💯 👍
@@frias2287 appreciate it!
@@ducducgoose You're welcome my brother, that's what we're here for, to support each other.
Great video. Do you see any improvement after installing this wing?
Thanks! I noticed the car is more planted when driving on the highway. It felt more stable as well.
s2k ❤
No audio test??
@@1nvd lol my camera mic sucks, it'll be hard to do a sound check, but I can guarantee you the sounds quality is much better.
@@ducducgoose thanks man! I’ll check it out. I see videos of people running JVC speakers and they claim oem sounded better lol. That’s why I wanted to check. Love the car
@@1nvd thanks bro! Kicker is pretty decent, if I had more money I would go with JL Audio as I have that as my subwoofer in the trunk. The car does need some extra bass though.
Thanks good instructions
What is you driving? it looks fresh
@@Isaac-lk4kf thanks! It's a Honda S2000

It amazes me how many people record self incriminating evidence now days, not that these guys were, but its getting crazy how prevalent it is
Definitely agree on that one. We're grown men now, no need to do none of that shenanigans.
Congrats man! I love the CR and if I went for the wing I would opt for the whole trunk as well, if possible. It must have cost a fortune though?
Thanks! My plan for the longest time was to buy a used trunk and then install either a GT wing or CR wing. I got lucky and a buddy of mine was selling his s2000 and he had a trunk with the CR wing that he bought second hand. Let's just say I got a pretty sweet deal on this.

Love your rear diffuser I want buy that rear diffuser for mine S2000 Please help me to get the website So I can order it pls Thank you
I posted the link in the description on where I bought it. You will have to email them to place an order.
What spoiler is that?
I think it was Tamon design spoiler.
Awesome man. Where I'd u buy those hood dampers ? Please leave a link. Thanks. Also looks great in car shows
Thank you! You can search on Google for s2000 p2m hood dampers and there should be plenty of results.
Very good. Thanks!
How are they holding up? Could you give us an update? Thanks bro
They are still holding up after a year. Maybe I can include it on my next video 😀
Looks good bro. I plan on doing the same but without drilling the holes into the body panel.. So just 3M tape.
Thanks! I would recommend using the self tapping screws, because you can't trust the 3M tape to hold it up for long.
Thanks for sharing
You got it!
Where did you get your hids
I posted a link in the description.
@@ducducgoose thanks
Great video bro
where you buy it ?
I bought it from here zencarbonfiber.com/collections/honda/products/honda-s2000-acura-rsx-carbon-fiber-steering-wheel
Looks clean.
Thanks!
For the "add a circuit" set up where do you splice it into?
I plugged it into a fuse slot under the driver seat. Use the accessory slot. You can find it in the owner's manual to figure out which slot it is.
Is the valve adjustment complicated on these engines? Great video btw 👌
Thanks for watching! They aren't too bad. I followed a guide from LHT performance here on TH-cam and there is a PDF file online on how to adjust the valves for this engine.
i recognize that red and yellow scarf anywhere, i had a green and blue one as a kid... haha congrats on the kid dude.
Thanks! I just got back from church and had time for a quick video 😆. TNTT for life!
Congrats on the newborn man. Your videos on S2000 have always been very inspirational. Looking forward for more. Cheers from London.
Thank you! That means a lot! I will have more videos coming up! Cheers mate!
Emmy said she can’t wait to go vroom vroom with dada 😅
Don't worry, she will soon! Haha
I wonder if this would work for my hybrid racing short shifter
Do you retain the shift boot? If so it might work.
Discontinued by P2M but existing stock still available places marked up a little as often happens. Follow up would be good to see how the dampers are holding up since the price is lower than NRG and gas dampers fail a lot. Thanks for Video!
So far it's still holding up. I can make a video to update all the stuff I have done to the car.
Btw you can hook up a computer 12v fan potentiometer before the led strips to adjust the brightness. 👌
Thanks! This is good info!
Hey man im coming from the vid where you put subs into your accord im doing the same and im stuck on the LOC part, do you remember how you connected it to your rear speakers? And what color wires you tapped into
Hey, the LOC should have 2 sets of wires, one for left speaker and one for the right speaker. I don't remember which color goes to which, but if there's a black wire coming from the speaker then connect to the black wire from the LOC. Here is a diagram of the connection. docs.google.com/drawings/d/1GxBs1Vg9YztS0a3x2Ilaf7KfesrXv3O_NyMBLBHZfnU/edit?usp=drivesdk
@@ducducgoose thank you!, one other thing the lead wire to the add a circut is so that the amp turns on and off with the car if im correct, instead of connecting it to the fuse box under the steering wheel couldn't I just connect it to a switch to turn them on and off
@@bobthesmurf6689the add-a-circuit is for convenience, some people connect it to the accessory slot so when they turn on the car it turns on the amp. You certainly can install a switch, but then you have to make sure you turn on the switch each time you start the car.
Great video! What are your wheel specs? J and ET, thanks
Thanks! I've made a video on the wheel specs here. th-cam.com/video/F5Y_8bFRFP0/w-d-xo.html
Kit company name?
The product is in the description.
I saw this video and ordered the same ones. Im still stock radio so hopefully they still sound better then Oem lol
Nice! I'm sure it'll be an upgrade but most of the power will come from the radio and the stock radio just doesn't produce much.
Does it sound like shit or does it sound better than oem?
@@1nvd in order to get the most from your speakers you need a radio that can produce the power.
Be careful leaving too much wire bundled it can get really hot and become a fire hazard!
Hola
Hola 👋
Very informative video, is your shift knob titanium ? aluminum ? .... and is it OEM ? Looking forward to your reply : )
Thank you! It is an OEM from an ap1 and it's aluminum. I do plan on getting a titanium shift knob in the future.
Hey man. Any updates on the brakes upgrade? The brakes hoses do they make any difference? Cheers
Hey! The brakes feels a lot firmer, but only once you get it to temperature. As for the brake line, I didn't feel much of a difference. You can probably stick with the OEM brake lines.
@@ducducgoose thanks for the update and for the videos. Some of my improvements on the S2000 were based solely on your videos. Cheers

Your black coil pack cover now looks just like the Euro/JDM '04+ covers. They were all black like '00 to '03. Looks great against the red VC.
Thank you! GPW for the win!Haha I always like the red/black look on the engine cover. I wasn't feeling the red and gold.
@@ducducgoose you're welcome :) Yes, I like the red/black too. Gold is pretty cool too so I wouldn't mind having a gold cover and running it for 6 months in a year then swap back to the black one, haha
do you know if this will work with the 20th anniversary bumper?
I can't guarantee, I know the bracket is mounted to the car frame and my bumper with the lip fit just fine. I think as long as the bottom of the bumper is flat it should be ok.
Hey Duc Le, thanks for the nice video. I would like to send a review inquiry to you, it's a car gadget. May I know ur mail address!
I would like something like this for my AP1 🥲
