what size drill bit were you using there and can i use a small hand held drill thats rechargeable that will work

I did read on a forum that other GI Joe guys are using the Beadsmith EZ-rivet machine that this video refers to. Looking on Ebay and Etsy, from different sellers, it's about 50-60 dollars/euros. I'm trying to see how to fix my micronaut aliens, and those are supposed to have slightly larger (?) rivets. Between trying to find the right rivets (inches, millimitres, my gosh) and the right tool, it's a nightmare. I wonder: what these tools do is very easy, they hold the convex part still, and they have a small tip that presses the concave side, that's all, so one might try to modify any kind of tool that can press (nutcracker, pliers, etc).

I just received a couple of these figures. The quality, detail & feel are good, HOWEVER, they have ball joint legs. Those of Us that like to play with our figures know how irritating it is to have figures with ball joints because they constantly pop off. I have spent a lot of money on preorder & I come out of this Very Frustrated and Disappointed. Moving forward, I hope they see this & go back to the Original leg screw format that made the figures enjoyable. I'm looking into getting a refund. Nothing Personal.🤦🏾‍♂️

for adding the moustache i would have waited for the beard to cure first. makes it easier to blend the moustache without worrying about ruining the beard

JUSt started custom printign Joe head sculpts and was curious as to what paint everyone was using decided to stay and see how you were doing these, iv painted 28mm minis so these ared huge in comparison! thanks for the vids i got some great tips!

Couple of follow up questions? 1) Will an adjustable speed Dremel work for drilling out the rivets? 2) After the new mid and lower arm has been put into the shoulder does the should need to be glued or secured in any way to keep the bicep swivel from being loose? Thank you.

Could you not have just swapped the legs out and then repaint the "underpants" that join them?

So, how to fix rivets but only with your special tool?

Don't worry I'm shaky too it comes with age , I have to use a head magnifier in order to see my work, I don't know what I will do if I ever was not able to use my hands.

Awesome video & your right only mix putty that you need , don't won't to waist it, because in 2023 it's expensive .

Any updates. Do you guys ever respond to comments or anything. This is not right.

Why does hasbro use some brass and some silver on the arm rivets for the same gi joe figures??. I have seen for example lt. falcon figure and 1 had the brass rivets near swivel arm and other had silver rivets both figures were AUTHENTIC. Did different hasbro production plants just use dif colors and sizes rivets??.. I also noticed some have a bigger rivet circular ring and others smaller. Also Even some of the figures shoulders had a smaller circular rivet on 1 arm and the other arm a slightly bigger circular rivet. Any idea why all this goes on??.
