Them trying to change the context ended up ruining and making the plot of this game confusing, because if you get proper translations for kh3 and rewind you will see a different game that makes more sense and is less disappointing, the fact that they try to frame as if kairi was the light guiding sora all along kinda ruined the whole point of the riku sacrifice and him guiding sora knowing he wouldn't give up cuz how the hell would kairi be the light if she was also following it and just joined sora

I am the only one who think the scene at the end of KH III, when Sora and Kairi share the paopu, it's a little bit forced?

I really want them to end the saga with Riku and Sora together. Their chemistry is so much more organic then the crap they're trying to shovel feed us with Sora and Kairi.

It's 2025 can we stop caring about sexuality and just give us the romance we deserve! And that Romance is Riku and Sora their past incarnations and now they are Yin to Yang, Dark to light, they are the balance the world needs. Kairi is just a princess.she really doesn't have much of a presence after the second game.

I see the relationship between Sora and Riku, the same way I see Christine/Strange, and early Tony/early Pepper. They have feelings for each other, but Riku always has always to hold the knife, especially when Sora or Kairi are involved. Sora respects him for it, but he doesn't feel ready to love him for it. And before anyone says Sora does the same, he's not the one whose lines in the novels idealize his lover to the point he thinks he has the answer to everything, including the origin of existance. Plus, Sora doesn't WANT to hold the knife. He'd rather help others get the knife. He just doesn't want others to suffer for it.

Sometimes I don't understand how Western translators can do this. In Taiwan, a translator added localized jokes and internet meme in Everything Everywhere All At Once and the backslash was so great that the publisher had to release another theatre version.

It seems you have no video about Roxas, Naminé or Xion. A pity. There's so much I could say about them...Such as that people seem to misunderstand Roxas. He DID break after everything he went through, like Riku did in the past. If Riku became Ansem's successor, then Roxas is Xemnas's, because Riku destroyed the friendship between him and Xion when he told her to keep their encounters secret. Roxas tried to get Kingdom Hearts for himself. He was willing to sacrifice reality for her, like Riku was willing to sacrifice the worlds for Sora. Why does everyone keep saying they're so innocent ? They're awesome characters and people, but they're not heroes. They are like Darth Revan. They are whatever fits their needs. And I ask you...What's so wrong with that ?

Ariel and Riku should have totally met ! They'd be great friends. I love Sora (my favorite character, in fact) but Nomura monopolizes him WAY too much when it comes to the worlds' exploration.

5:43 about that "weird stuff", I heard from other fans that Nomura implied at some point Riku might not be truly human, but some sort of "Kingdom Hearts" avatar. If so: -That explains his appearance being very much like Cecil's; -I want him to meet Cecil; -I hope he doesn't become "KH" Madoka/Jesus Christ. No matter what issues I have regarding him, I don't think he deserves to lose his life for the sake of everyone else. I think he deserves a long, warm life.

SoRiku is gonna become canon, because Kairi and Sora are sister and brother in spirit ! Let me explain: -Thanks to many fans well versed in japanese, we now know that every romantic hint to exist in the trio has always been between Sora and Riku. And if we analyse Sora's body language around Kairi, mixed with the way he drew himself giving the Papou fruit to her, but not sharing it, it becomes clear what they truly feel for each other. They love each other as much as two people would, had they been born to the same mother (they had the "grow up together" part, though). This sheds new light to scenes through out the series. Some of them become sadder to me, because I always understood better love between siblings than romantic love. But it also allows me to better forgive the characters, because I know what it is to look at deep bonds that feel irreplaçable and unique, and to crave to replicate them. Kairi and Sora's love for each other is so genuine, most would think it's romantic. But romantic love is more what Riku and Sora have, because it's filled with more struggle to connect, due to the passion between them that can mislead one into possession. A love between family, while filled with some yelling, is ironically more serene, because you are satisfied with each other (the fighting is to stave off boredom and keep you on your toes towards life, in a controlled safe environment).

Ever since I read the Sleeping Realm Doc and looking how much hints they show of a romance it really made Sora and Riku characters so much better and beautiful really. Especially Riku. It re-shapes the things Riku goes through and his willnglyness to protect his precious person. It’s more than a friendship but out of a true Love and his whole Arc after KH1 is incredible. He clearly was hiding his true feelings of abandonment from Sora and was only treating Kairi as a way to make Sora jealous, even though it could be Sora did like Her, it didn’t really help the complex feelings which caused his road to darkness possession. After he redeems himself his goal was to make sure Sora was happy and protected. He was even gonna disappear to spare him from seeing his Beast-Form. It really make his Character beautifully written and it captures that Disney Romance but with Gay men. Sora is the same aswell. Riku belives that He can be happy without him but Sora proved him wrong. Hell even when they first leaves Destiny Islands the first thing on Sora’s Mind was finding Riku and Kairi. Sora didn’t go back after KH1 and instead goes to look for him. And after a long journey he breaks down in joy at finding him, even in his beast form he was just happy to have finally found him. DDD and KH3 really are great examples (Can’t forget to mention the Dearly Beloved Hearts singing and the Gayblade which itself is a parallel to the Dearly Beloved) I also love the Disney Princess Parallels too. Like the Beauty and the Beast in Days and the Cinderella. It so easy to mis but at the same time easy to catch if you are paying close attention. Honestly Nomura portrayal of Romance is the best portrayal I’ve seen from media ever. He does it that is difficult to see but once you pay attention and catch it. You can tell it’s deliberate. I love that man so much (also shoutout to Michio Matsuura too for bringing these moments) (Also Happy Pride Month 🗝️🌈)
