Past Times Pinball History Ep 31: Star Wars - Episode 1
A game that marked the end of an era. In a final attempt to regain interest in pinball, Williams released a second game under the Pinball 2000 division featuring an interactive hologram on the playfield. This would be the final game produced by Williams/Bally/Midway, leaving only Stern Pinball as the only remaining major pinball manufacturer.

A common feature in many games of today, the "shaker motor" was first introduced to the industry in Williams' "Earthshaker." I was originally created with the intent to infuse the rumble of an earthquake within the game. #pinball #PinballHistory #ArcadeGames #RetroGaming #williamspinball

I had a machine called Rock, I think it was from the 80's
Awsome!
We are a retired couple who love pinball. We have 4 machines. We are planning a weekday trip to visit. We live across the state at the Lake Erie Islands.
Ahhhhhh the good ol 80s
Most of these machines are from the 70s and Today
I have one of these. The numbers grid moves down out of view during the game which is unusual apparently!
Greatest game of all time
Sad end to a great era. The Bally/Williams games were my favorites in the 90s
Coming down with son in laws and grandson in 2 weeks. Canât wait.
my next door neighbour had this in 1980. first pinball i ever played
Just played this over in Louisville; I really enjoyed it.
what about those Hankin games?
Great place, great history lesson.
Great artwork, but the game play isnât one of my favorites.
Wrong music Need Monster Mash!
Get well soon guys
Great game play it all the time
Such a good game, glad to say Iâve played it
Do you know why my flippers seem so much less powerful than yours?
What song is this?
Dracula is pretty fun!
Mist ball! ðąðĪŊðē
Unfortunately, to play the videogame, one had to rely on the Gottlieb S80 electronics architecture ðĒ
Yes
Ah.. I love these ancients games
Cow poke is the add a ball buckaroo! Every time I played Kings and Queens I wished there was a Buckaroo next to it, and there was!
The end of a great era right there man, Those 90s Williams games are my favorite
Such a fun game. I don't think I've played the original but we have the remake at my local arcade in Parma, OH. I'm trying to remember if it was Lyman himself who added the code in the remake or if others chipped in. To be honest I'm not sure exactly what code is new compared to the original but I know cactus canyon is an awfully fun game to play! ðĪ "Your bounty, sir." $$$
I have one of those in my basement
These are all super-binge-able! I could watch a history for every machine in your arcade. Thanks for the stories and the fun!
The art on that gane is amazing!
Take that AtGames!!!!!
0:59 that's my high score! FIZ
First
i bet it weighs a ton!
Those triple playfield games look cool
This place looks like fun
the best place ever!
It's amazing. Best place to play pinball in the world
Seeing that tilt mechanism seems to confirm one of my suspicions. These machines are set up to allow a good deal of nudging. When playing Majorettes even though I feel I may be nudging a little too much the machine never complains. My tilt goes off before the machine.
To me pinball had lost its way by this stage. Give me Gottliebs bells and chimes any day.
Nice. Hope your school year is going great.
Worth the trip if your coming from Michigan. So much fun playing all the old games
Lol, great
Target Alpha was a game I played a LOT in my teenage years! You can never have enough drop targets ð Thanks again for another great pinball history video Mike!
they struck gold with this layout
I just love El Dorado. Those desert palette colours, the drop target playfield, the 2 upper flippers. It hooked me at my local bowling alley when I was 9 years old.
Myself?!?!
brother
Definitely one of favorites as well as 8 ball deluxe, if I new how to fix them I'd be owning them in my garage and playing all the time.
Did not like Gorgar, and it was broke a lot
Those 2 machines were my favorite to play, really miss those days and those machines.
I can't believe my favorite thing about an arcade was how the cafeteria looked lol it looks fun there!
