I'm so glad to see these traditions continued. They're important in keeping us grounded in our history and family.

They should have gave the southern cloth and buckskin a southern song if they’re tryna be specific. Southern dancers don’t really get foot slide songs too much. Or make the Northern style dance to a southern song. Fell like they weren’t too fair to the ladies if they wanna be specific to the styles of dance.

I have never seen Womens Traditional that way. Maybe because I’m for the other side of the mountain??? Or so I was told. Not only that, the 2nd song threw me off. I apologize, I was raised danced different

This is a southern appliqué song and I don’t see many appliqué dancers in that arena. Many of these beautiful women are wearing heavy regalia and it can be heard to dance a certain style you don’t know. The mc sounded very rude.

The region where this is being hosted is very beautiful. The attendees and performers must have felt very blessed to have been at such a location. The pow wows in the stadiums and the event centers are cool, but it's much nicer to be out in nature.
