Pool Disasters | 1 Year Old Pool Failure | Pool Replacement
Yes, large cracks in a pool can be a serious problem. They can indicate structural issues, such as shifts in the foundation or weakening of the pool’s structure, and may lead to significant water loss or damage to the surrounding area. The potential problems include:
Water Leakage: Cracks can allow water to seep out of the pool, leading to higher water bills, reduced water levels, and potential damage to the pool equipment that maintains water pressure.
Structural Damage: If the crack is deep, it could signify a structural failure of the pool’s shell or foundation. Over time, this may worsen, causing even more extensive damage and costly repairs.
Soil Erosion: If water leaks through the crack, it can erode the soil beneath and around the pool, causing further shifts and instability in the pool’s foundation, leading to more cracks.
Tile and Plaster Damage: Cracks can affect the surface finish of the pool, damaging the plaster, tiles, or liner. This not only detracts from the pool’s aesthetic but also reduces its functionality.
Safety Hazard: Large cracks can create sharp edges, which may pose a safety risk to swimmers.
If you notice large cracks, it's important to consult a pool professional who can assess the severity of the damage and recommend appropriate repairs.

Cleaning the filter in your dishwasher is important for several reasons: Efficiency: A clogged filter can impede water flow, making your dishwasher work harder to clean your dishes. This can lead to longer wash times and increased energy usage. Clean Dishes: A dirty filter can cause food particles and debris to redeposit onto your dishes, resulting in less effective cleaning and potentially lea...

    Wow so much misinformation here. The only difference between an inswing and outswing door are the hinges and bottom threshold. It has absolutely nothing to do with the thickness of the frame “for security reasons” and the reason the frames or doors rot is because of lack of maintenance. Doors need to be painted on all 6 sides not just the front and back. Door jambs come primed in white and still need painted but most do not get painted after they are installed. Outswing doors are actually more secure (with the proper hinges) and more efficient when it comes to keeping drafty air out. Next time educate yourself before trying to educate others.

    I’m also in Long Beach looking to do similar project. Why didn’t you run the joists from the other walls (perpendicular from the direction you used)? Wouldn’t that have eliminated the need to take off the shingles? Serious question from a complete amateur….. Thanks!

      @Therealhomeinspectionauthority วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi Great question! You want to run the ceiling joists from each wall where the roof rafters sit, this ties all framing together wall/rafter/joist. Thats the reason I installed them the way i did. To run ceiling joists off of the other walls (Rear/Front) I would have had to install a beam halfway from rear to front of garage and the beam would sit on the right and left wall. To do this i would have had to still open up the roof. It could be done i guess however i preferred what i showed in the video.

    Love when lazy piles spend 10 minutes making a video complaining about something that takes less than 2 minutes to fix if you dont want it caulked then go ahead and spend your money on an alternative sealing solution that makes the panel non breathable while it remains removable instead of crying about it. You get paid enough to get off your phone shut your mouth and get some real work done.

    A plumber told me that the vibrating and ticking noise that my hot water heater and pipes were making was "no big deal" when I used my washing machine, shower or flushed the toilet. Being in my house for over a decade, I had never had that experience, so it was a big deal to me. I searched online and figured that the PSI was off, so I called another plumber who checked the gauge and said that it was at 110, way too high and he replaced it. No more vibrating and ticking pipes, Yay! Sad that it's getting harder to find workers who will do their job right. Don't get me started about the appliance guy who replaced a part on my washing machine and my washer never came back on. I had to buy a new washer😡.
