I never struggled with the campaign missions, except for the helicopter recon mission. The final mission forces you to hotswap lots before you die, moving men to useful positions. You cannot one man army it
dude.. the old ravenfield OST hits hard. the symphony is beautiful.
I just played half of the campaign of BF2MC (couldn't complete mission 10, I could try a couple more times, but I'm not that interested). This is my first Battlefield experience, I want to play all the console campaigns and since this is the first one, I wanted to play it and see how they evolve over time. Thank you very much for this review, you're spot on in every point.
I've been wanting to get ravenfield for a while now, and this video finally made me push to get it. Thanks!
I thought this game was a fever dream
This was a great game i loved the campaign i didn't have the internet at the time so i just used to complete games. Play the campaign a couple of times then trade a game in for another. Good times.
Its back online!!! 2024
Did this mf say that bf1 is better than bf4
This game was so fun i wish it was on ea access so bad
I haven't played this gem in 15 years, my childhood <3
I got that Game as 15 year old and beat it multiple Times. I remember it having a Bit Stress but ITS doable. later in my Life get Worldwide top Highscore places (3rd places 6th place ect.) in different games. So i guess that wasnt the average experience. And with 34 already i Wonder how i could get some reckords 9 years ago, because i already age to much do some thinks again. I even Challenge against a Real Life Fighter Pilot that Beats every he know and get Desperate in duels with my, because i win every Match in months.
I beat the last mission by using a glitch in the game. When enemies aren’t on screen the damage they cause you is much much less. Thus I would look at the floor while walking all the way to each objective. I went to the silo site on the right first. Then, from the position you parachute down on, went leftwards and hit the next silo site. Through repetition over a few hours I managed to find the perfect routes to take each time. (I played on Xbox 360)
Suprised by the actual video review quality, Nice
This game was badass. The Soundtrack is one of my favorites. It was Rupert Greyson-Williams and Lorne Balfe. These are Hans Zimmer pupils. Lorne Balfe later did MW2s soundtrack.
I tired finshing that level over a year with about 15-16 hours put in :\
I'm sure in ps2 enemies weren't so hard
Great review of this forgotten game
I did beat the final mission, but i do remember it being hell, and the fact that you have to do it twice for both "factions" was just torture. The bombs i could usually place but laserdesignating the enemy leaders "bunker" or something like that felt buggy as all hell since half the time your designator would get messed up by the enemy helos flying about.
One of the best online games ever , and its noe back online !
green army men mod
This game was way ahead of its time, the ideas were ahead of technology. It must have been made by veterans to be a "game" because of certain concepts. The sniping was fun, the recoil system was practical, the vehicle operating was realistic for a controller played game. Id love nothing more than a remake if this game with its original concepts.
Game has professed and the community has become better since then. Extensive missing is what makes this game what it is
Crying about aim assist? Say you suck at games without sayin you suck
I play this game as a 9 year old it’s still not hard for me it’s so easy for me to snipe
This game was the best military game on the ps2
First bf game, deffinatly going to find a disc copy to play on the series x
me in 2023 Multiplayer mod bieng free and offical.
RavenM if that what you mean.
5:20 sorry to break it to you but HMG isnt meant to be used and is mostly stationary. 18:00 If u have 2 less points then the enemy your reinforsments will slowly deplete automatically. If you have 0 points you reinforsemts will deplete very quickly automatically.
The AI kind of feel like playing with and against silver one csgo players
Great review. I've been on the fence about buying it, but I think you've convinced me
The Servers For Modern Combat Were Closed In 2011 You Could Not Play Online Even If You Wanted To
Yes you can they are back up independently, search bf2mc 2023, you can now also play in 4k
Ps2 version was easier i think, could never complete 360 version
don't get yourself fooled! it's the best BF experience to date - very fast paced and arcadey (hence the controls). and..... they just REVIVED the servers for the PS2 version!!
No aim assist? Good.
1 minute intro
Yes, I remembered a game which allowed you to zoom around the battlefield. Glad I found this review and I hadn't gone crazy. The hotswapping mechanic was a brilliant innovation to help make console shooters more dynamic.
Good review! Played this game a few months ago and it was honestly horrific. No nostalgia for it, so no rose tinted glasses. Just a lame campaign and no MP servers.
Good review overall tbh but I think you were too harsh on certain parts, especially when comparing it to games that came *after* it. The soundtrack was excellent back in the day, and you can totally see how they just threw a bunch of ideas on the game and see what worked. The influence of this game on later BF titles and other games was quite big.
You should try the HDF mod colection its cool.
Oh damn, there's this modpack called the "secret" HDF testpack. It's WAY better than the other packs. A SHITLOAD of high quality guns and some vehicles.
cool
This video game is Glorious
always be a single player game: ravenm would like to have a word with you
I remember spending hours and hours to grind the multiplayer ranks on this game. Shame i don't have that old xbox
My first battlefield game, that intro dropping into the first mission awesome. That last mission though...once I finally got to it, it was one heck of a mission and was happy I was able to make it through it. After many many attempts.
ravenfield shoud have a cooperative mode.... i love this game
HELLO IM YOUR BIGGEST FAN (still)
I call those tanks paper tanks
Hunt is THE original extraction shooter.
How do some people make flags move ? Workshop ? Other ?
Love your voice <3 I think you could say everything you said here under 1,5 hours but im glad you didnt. This really feels like a talk betwen friends which fits twich stream. Maybe talk about Titanfall 2 in the future? 😁
Thanks. You're probably right about being able to say things in less time but we enjoy the loose, freeform discussion that we get going here. As you point out, it's a chat between friends. As for TF2, it definitely seems like a game we could do in the future. It's an interesting game that has a lot of things worth talking about. Can't say exactly when we'll cover it as we both have a bunch of games we want to talk about but it'll likely happen at some point in the future.
guess what.... they have a multiplayer mod for the base game now and it is glorious
