How to inspect sites near to BLACKWATER as Arthur

Circus wagon and Wickiup, two sites near to blackwater. pinkertons will gun u down the moment u get to this area. make sure u hav enough health and stamina supplies for arthur and ur horse. onc e u inspect these sites, it will be drawn in ur journal. arthur's drawing is much better than john's drawing. Gambler hat is only available at armadillo and rarely at tumbleweed. if u could get this hat during angelo bronte mission glitch, it would be much easier. im trying to do this, getting legend of the east satchel and outfit in chapter 2, the thing is i haven’t done any side missions but i sadly need to do some, like hoseas mission to unlock rare horse spawns for tiger striped. and the jack fishing mission for lures and survivalist, also all legendary animals, and trinkets, i want to try getting Otis millers gun but i cant get it.

Without showing how...this is just mod menu BS. It took me hours to get the herbs using the buggy method.

Bro im at the very end of Chapter 3 rn and I for the life of me can not complete the horseman challenge where you ride to Blackwater from Van Horn. I've tried multiple routes and strategies and I just can't get it. I've been trying for close to a week now.

I don't understand why Rockstar made the challenges the way they did what's the point of maxing out your stats when the game is finished. Finish the game john picks 4 flowers whoopee doo hate game. Finish the game doing challenges by chapter 3, start game again, like the game but hate gambler 8

How do I pick up the hat without getting shot
Settings: camera follow level - off; dynamic kill cam off Zoom out to the furthest 3rd person perspective Park the buggy as close to the hat where you can, keep Arthur out of the camera view at all times using the black portion of the buggy as cover. I’ve done it with the current sniper AND the 1.00 sniper, 1.00 it’s even harder since that version has the rapid fire sniper and the photo function isn’t added in yet like later patches
This help me a lot thank you so much but I does it matter how long I’m there bc the hat never spawns in for me

My first try I made it o the bison, but area was busy. Made it to the pronghorn, whipped to fast round a corner and the camera was on Arthur, sniper got me. 2nd time made it have way to the bison. Shot through the back window 3rd time I barely made it past thieves landing. Maaaan I’m goin to bed
Three things: You don't have to get out of the buggy to skin or attempt to skin. Look at the map and if the animal is crossed out, it is yours. There is a button to go into free roam so you can move around in camera mode, On PC it is the V key. Use explosive ammo for a one or two shot kill.
Rockstar, please delete this sniper. It was a ridiculous idea to add him
It looks like they did all this red zone really fast in a hurry. They didn't have time to make some free roam events so they decided to remove this zone completely from Arthur.
What's the earliest chapter when you can get Otis Miller's revolver?
Chapter 4 if you use the Angelo Bronte glitch.

Meaning keep his body and face out of view of the camera at all times! If he can be seen on your screen the sniper can kill him

@@ElHombreGato I have TONS of tips and glitches on that game that I’ve ran across 1.00 and various other versions, Xbox and PlayStation. Anywhere I can help lmk! I’ve gotten a bunch of stuff early for Arthur that’s supposed to be for John only, I’ve done Legend Of The East 100% with Arthur, all 90 challenges on chapters 3 and 4 where it’s possible, I believe it can be done after unlocking survivalist in chapter 2 then using a mission exploit to try and win gambler 10, which with all other challenges completed will allow you to skip bandit and get the outfit early (herbalist 9 can be completed as Arthur too!). I’ve done out of map hunting for New Austin animals, I’ve used the buggy method for Dino bones, the Del Lobo hats and all New Austin hats in general, legendary animals can be killed where you get those trinkets and outfits early! Any way I can help just ask, Arthur can also go to New Austin without the sniper using a mission exploit, 1.00 it’s WAY better but newer versions you can make a one time trip work on a mission or mission replay!
@@ElHombreGato also, I’ve gotten Hosea’s rolling block rifle before The Sheep & The Goats at the end of chapter 2, if you want a good Horseshoe overlook save with sharpshooter challenges completed that’s good it can be gotten using the companion glitch to spawn Hosea with the rifle (must have hunting mission available at camp with the bear, that’s the only mission he’ll have a rifle where a long scope can be added), have an enemy disarm him and you can get it early
I have a question: in chapter 3 there is a way to make the glitch quicker by hogtying an npc and waiting for him to untie himself; and he had to be placed in a specific point. Do you know where to apply this method in chapter 4?

I managed to kill all 3. Bison, pronghorn and cougar. However the compedium of both bison and cougar updated since i return but not the pronghorn enven after a week. Any suggestions?
