Flawless perfomance. I don't know why we don't hear this Capriccio performed more, since it's immediately appealing with its programmaticism. One of my favorite Bach pieces. Thank you for presenting this.

Everything about Yehuda Inbar’s playing is right: the tempi, the clarity and phrasing, and the balance between technical mastery, intellectual coolness and emotional expression. He is a seriously underrated performer.

I absolutely love the delicacy and tenderness of his playing. But Yehuda, be careful not to exaggerate your tempos, especially the faster ones!
I wasn't struck by exaggerated tempos: all seemed to be within the parameters of what I might expect.

Just marvelous delivery of this utterly painful recount by the Kapellmeister. I felt Mr. Inbar singing a Beethoven sonata within the framework if Bach's Capriccio, And when he hits the chromatic cadence, he is truly charged with emotions yet proud and fixed on the keyboard.
This rendition and Leon Fleisher's interpretation are my favorites of this wonderful piece. His sensitive playing is magnificent.

Great CD, love the playing.
Claudio Arrau used to say that is Schubert final and most difficult problem for a piano interpreter.Astonishing how young Inbar goes so deep in Schubert world,beauty and drama so well balanced.His clarity only to be compared to Arcadi Volodos supreme performance of this sonata.
I think I know where Glenn Gould's "So You Want to Write a Fugue" theme came from... (7:47)
Oh... yes !!! And it is strange why Gould didn't record this Capriccio...
