Flawless perfomance. I don't know why we don't hear this Capriccio performed more, since it's immediately appealing with its programmaticism. One of my favorite Bach pieces. Thank you for presenting this.
Just marvelous delivery of this utterly painful recount by the Kapellmeister. I felt Mr. Inbar singing a Beethoven sonata within the framework if Bach's Capriccio, And when he hits the chromatic cadence, he is truly charged with emotions yet proud and fixed on the keyboard.

This rendition and Leon Fleisher's interpretation are my favorites of this wonderful piece. His sensitive playing is magnificent.
Also Wilhelm Kempff
and Peter Serkin
Love his eloquent, unshowy and restrained interpretation. All the more profound and poignant for it.

love how soft and delicated you play
a lovely performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a nice interpretation! I particularly like the way your ornaments flow so naturally with the melodic line.

Seems to me it was a joyous departure, but I like it very much

I think I know where Glenn Gould's "So You Want to Write a Fugue" theme came from... (7:47)
Oh... yes !!! And it is strange why Gould didn't record this Capriccio...
