After a year of searching for the perfect spot in the Italian mountains, I'm finally about to buy two historic cabins at the top of a hill in northern Italy. My goal? To transform them into a sustainable, off-grid home. #offgrid #stonehouse #alps #italy
This is a test for an upcoming project. The video was shot with an iPhone 15 Pro, edited on Adobe Premiere Pro, and colored on DaVinci Resolve with Dehancer.
I didn't like the music, it was too dark... I'm very curious to see what it Looks like inside! 🙋🏼♀️
I feel you know what you want, and in some cases hope, to do and have the knowledge as to how to effect it all but I was relieved to see the houses 'bathed in sunlight' as that makes a vast difference. A quad bike. What a relief to know you will not be struggling with supplies on your back. I rather like the style of the two videos I have seen so I shall be continuing my watching and at the same time wishing you well. Middle England here (but I did live in the mountains of northern Tuscany in a stone house for 11 years ...)
First winter in the Alps. Take good care of yourself.
Thank you for taking us with you. Stay blessed.
Attention with the external chimney at minut 12.56 is in Eternit, a cancerous material very used in Italy in the past decades. The fibers are poison. You will need to call a special business to take away this. When you buy one home in Italy (i tell to everybody) you need a geometra and verify if all the inside structures have correspondances with the official plant of the home, if not BETTER To DON'T BUY, because to corrige all you will need extra money and long burocratic road into the local municipality. Other thing: if it's all good with spaces and plant, you must know that you can't change all how you like. To preserve integrity of homes in Italy we don't accept huge changements, but only the compatible ones. If you want to modify you need again a geometra and other iter into the municipality. That vision saved in Italy a lot of past buildings and it's a big part of our beauty. So think before to buy homes in Italy, take informations with geometra. Value the price thinking to such things. And inside the home you have to notice if the electric implants are good or to renovate. Also the idric one. Or you risk to pay more for such implants respect to the property. Anyway, good luck to Matheus.
People suck ,what happened to supporting one another
How in THE WORLD did you find these last few places?! Such an absolutely beautiful location.
Big Ups from Charleston, SC🇺🇸
beautiful place and interested to watch your progress.
Anyone know what the name of the waterfalls is? BEAUTIFUL !!
Don't do it.
Why you hearted my comment when I was very rude?! Everyone comparing you with Martin But Martin university a lot of money in the starting of channel First of all he bought very expensive kamera, kamera means lot. Your camera is very Bad. Second Martin chooses beautiful scenes. You only one scene was half of video, walking to the house on one small.road. Your scenes are long and monotone. Change that. Change scenes more often. Record around house, inside house. With drone.
Martijn is older and has more experience. He's been doing it for 3 years plus all the years he spent travelling the world...
Wonderfull images, thanks for sharing. Good luck on your journey! Keep us posted ❤
Thats an awesome place you found for yourself Im happy for you. God bless you.
WOW ! What city is this?
Abraços do Brasil.
Great video ! Keep it up
Who normal puts this creepy music, and writes READY TO MOVE AND THEN 10 MINUTES records just one same scene and never enters in house. Sorry this is idiocracy.
Would like to ask who maintains the path to house and is that the only way to house is that the road . It is a beautiful place need to stock well up with food for the winter months live with nature.
Nice...how many inhabitans
What a beautiful place !!!!❤❤❤
It will be good to see things unfold for you going forward, and having the house (I assume) ready to move into will make a big difference, particularly if you will be spending time there over Winter.
Steep hillside. I hope there is a bit of flat land where you can build a greenhouse.
How are you going to get suppiles to the house?
I hate snow. I lived in it and I hate it.
I hope you have the keys in hand
Good second effort at recording your journey! Keep it up, you'll get there. Looking forward to following you!
outstanding
Are you a fan and subscriber to Martijin Doolard too? Is that where you got your inspiration to live on the alps. I look forward to watching more episodes to come from your channel
Im exhausted all ready
Nice shoes 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Love this ❤beautiful 😍
The same project like me!! 🎉
I love The sound, and the shoes, beautiful, nice work
Hi Matheus thank you for your video, val cavaione was one of my first place where i went hiking with friend or alone, i am so Happy to see this eonderful place in your video. My Mother was from Balmuccia and i spend weekends in valsesia, perhpas one day i will check your progress with my eyes 😂 i am waiting for your new video!
Absolutely stunning ❤
Great content, but the music is for drama series
The first thing I noticed is that you changed the aspect ratio of your video which I think is great. It’s less distracting and more enjoyable to watch. All that livable space will give you many options, including I imagine, a rental unit to generate some income? Backpackers would love it. I’m still hoping there is a nearby road to drop off supplies closer to the house. Even bringing in diesel for your generator is going to be a pain. Or the panels for your solar unit will be large and awkward to carry on a quad. I’m looking forward to seeing your solutions to these challenges and I wish you much success!
I am very envious, I hope to have a mountain property of my own one day. Will be following your journey from Charleston, SC USA. Best of luck and I look forward to more content!
What a beautiful place 😍😍😍
Please use other subtitles color, or put something around the text to be readebla on light areas, and make it slightly bigger. Thanks and good luck!
Noted!
Hi Matheus, how do you know the cost for restoring? Is the geometra who calculates it for you?
Hey, I don't know yet.
@@matheusstonehouse cool, let us know, please. Also, if you need help I will be very glad to fly down to Italy for that experience.
Lovely cinematography 😊 I appreciate the tranquility. The stunningly good algorithm brought me here. It knows what I like.
Brave move,looks cold,good luck
This must be really exciting. You have a wonderful spot! Glad YT suggested your channel.
