In a concert that recalls hit Broadway musicals and tunes, The Oregon Symphonic Band performed on April 22nd, 2023 at the Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton Oregon.
Broadway Show Stoppers Arr. Warren Barker
Broadway has given us countless musical performances that have excited the audience spontaneously react with applause that interrupts the production. Master arranger Warren Barker has compiled a medley of six of these notable songs. Everything's Coming Up Roses was sung by Ethel Merman, performing as Rose in Gypsy. Based on the life of Fanny Brice, the 1964 musical Funny Girl featured Barbra Streisand singing People. Alfred Doolittle, Eliza's Father, fold us that his fate could change With a Little Bit of Luck in the production of Mv Fair Lady. On a Clear Day is both the name of the song and 1970 film with Barbara Streisand, and the opening song for The Fantasticks was Try to Remember. The success of these musical productions is summed up with That's Entertainment! from the music.
