In this channel i will discuss the basic concepts of chemical engineering. we will study modes of heat transfer, external and internal flow heat transfer along with heat exchanger and evaporator designing. In mass transfer section diffusion law, absorption and stripping of gases, distillation of components and adsorption of liquid and gases will explain. In chemical reaction engineering the rate equation, types of isothermal reactors, catalytic reactions, multiple reactions and adsorption kinetics will discuss. In thermodynamics laws of thermodynamics, vapor power cycles, Rankine cycles, phase equilibrium, Gibbs free energy, Vont's Hoff equation, adsorption thermodynamics will discuss. In chemical process principles the material and energy balance will explain in details. In transport phenomena momentum, energy and mass transport will explain in detail. Multiple choice questions and software related to chemical engineering subjects will also explain.

In this video you will learn about extractive distillation of methanol-acetone mixture using DWSIM. Sensitivity analysis is also performed to find the relation between recycle molar flow rate and its effect on condenser and reboiler duties of both column. Two columns, one for ethanol separation and the second for acetone separation are used for this simulation.

In aspen Adsorption we assumed the activated carbon as an adsorbent. We can enter the properties like density, specific surface area, heat capacity and porosity of activated carbon. You can enter properties of other adsorbent according to your need.

I am getting results and the model is converging until a point where I have this error: SPARSE: No norm reduction after 20 step reductions SPARSE: Return to best point what would you recommend me to do, I have tried changing things in the Integrator and in the Non-linear solver but no success
