@@DanielHaduniuk a good idea :)
i have never played it, but i do like lithtech stuff... it looks really well made actually
@@RealHero101111 the graphics, music and level design are very nice for a mid-2000 game.
I've been playing this a lot this week. Can now compete with the AI cars on expert mode after a lot of tweaking to get it to perform like it's on original hardware using dgvoodoo2. The williams cars are still absolute bullets mind but my practice laps are less than half a second off them now. More car setup tweaking needed but I'm getting there :)
@@philt6440 The AI cars where very fast in this game but just made it more challenging. I played it so much back in 1998-1999.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 there is a slight issue with the game in that it's very CPU intensive and when you're in a race with even just one opponent car you will experience stutter when going round a high speed corner. This can take upto 1 second of lap time off your actual laptime from time attack mode where the stutter isn't there as much. F1 racing simulation doesn't suffer from this as much so my time attack laps can be replicated in a race scenario. I've tried to eliminate the stutter in Monaco 2 by playing it on hardware from its time but it's still there. I did find turning off the shadow cache on Nvidia helps somewhat but still not enough to be competitive with the front 3 cars.
oh and I've noticed my modern quad core makes the AI cars run slightly faster (even when set to 1 processor only ) than my pentium 4 single core. There is around half a second difference when their tyres have warmed up over 5 or 6 laps. Still not sure how to address that one. It's particularly funny on Monaco where the AI cars sometimes take the hairpin too fast and end up getting stuck there in a 21 car pile up. 😂 I cannot replicate that on the pentium 4 so it definitely is a modern hardware issue.
@@philt6440 with the Quad-Core or even Pentium 4, if you want to make them slower, from the BIOS you can select the lowest multiplier and the frequency will go down too. With a lower multiplier and frequency it will run slower and be more compatible with old games.
and i say welcome to the show ...
@@matusmikoviny a nice game for the year 2000 :)
Never seen this before. Interesting like it🤩
@@efpcvintageplanet3406 it uses a more advanced and better optimised version of the Shogo and Blood 2 engine. It's a nice shooter for that period and it runs great of a Voodoo 3.
yet another game I've never heard of! The game looks very good for a D3D game, Voodoo 3 does a great job as usual haha
@@RootiferasRetroGameplay yes it looks very good for that period. It also runs well on a Voodoo 3 in 1024x768.
An interesting game
Nice music and graphics, I guess I will install it too.
I never heard of this game
I wonder if it runs better on a TNT2 than on the Voodoo 3?!?
@@SACUNSACA I don’t know exactly but it could be, the TNT2 runs well in Direct3D. I will have to test it :)
Is this the demo or full version ?
Beautiful graphics for a shooter from the year 2000
Man that clown looks really creepy
Like
I remember playing the demo I Guess in 2000 or 2001.
Did you know that Psycho Circus uses the same engine as Shogo and Blood 2 both from 1998 ?
@@Hanejejrjxn yes Kiss Psycho Circus uses version 1.5 of the LithTech engine, a more advanced and better optimized version than 1.0 used for Shogo and Blood 2. But they still look very similar.
Nice game
I remember this one
Runs very well on the V3 3000.
Interesting shooter
So you have gamecube power now?
@@DanielHaduniuk Well even though the game is from January 2002 it still works great on the old Voodoo 3 realeased in early-1999.
Try stage II please 😄
@@DanielHaduniuk I will try Rollcage 2 for sure in the next months.
3dfx 4500 can run even SA
@@DanielHaduniuk I will have to try it out with the Voodoo 3, but the chances that SA will work are minimal I guess.
ah I love this game!
@@RootiferasRetroGameplay it was an interesting game for the year 1997.
You know you can run Gothic? Its tested. Works smooth
@@DanielHaduniuk I tried it a long time ago and if I remember correctly it run without issues with the Voodoo 3 but with a low 15-25 FPS. I will have to try it again :)
How much Ram do you have?
@@DanielHaduniuk 256 SDR, I wrote the system details the description.

just gold
Playing this one with keys is the ultimate challenge 😁
In this video I was playing with just one hand. With the other I was holding the smartphone. If you look at the edge of the monitor you can see it’s moving because I was holding the smartphone with my hand :). I started making videos on this channel just for myself, to see how certain games run o a Voodoo card :), that’s why the video quality is so low because it wasn’t important for me at that time.
Nice to see the big screen working after the first corner! That was only possible when installing the 3DFX version.
Glide games most of the time have extra details / graphics features in Glide compared to Direct3D. This was just the Demo version, I couldn’t find the full version anywhere. I had the full version back in 1999, but now I cannot find it.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 It's on myabandonware. Then google for the 3DFX NO CD crack for it. It's definitely out there.
Try Grand Prix 3 if you can.
@@janosgerzon7647 I played GP3 a lot back then on a Celeron 400 mhz and Voodoo 3 2000. I will definitely upload a video with it in the next weeks or months.
hah comparing this to my voodoo 1, the difference is massive! banshee looks so much better!
@@RootiferasRetroGameplay the Banshee is more than 2 to 2.5x faster than the Voodoo 1 and it also has a better image quality thanks to the 22 bit filter and no 2d-3d cable.

runs butter smooth! this is a Ubisoft game, right? they used to make good games in the past :)
Yup..they made the best F1 games. Silky smooth 60fps like here was also achieved first in 1997 with their first F1 simulation offering. Geoff Crammonds GP3 still couldn't get above 30fps in 2000! Ubisoft were way ahead of their time!
@@philt6440 yeah Ubisoft made some really good games back then.
@@RootiferasRetroGameplay yeah it runs really nice on the Voodoo 3 3000 in 1024x768. At the start the Fps was lower because there were 22 cars on the screen but after a few seconds it run very smooth.
stunning graphics for 2000, and the Voodoo 3 3000 handles it like a champ!

@@athos5359 At the beginning of the race, with 22 cars in the image all at once the FPS was lower but I guess that’s more because of the CPU. Right after I overtook some cars and they disappeared behind, the FPS increased dramatically.
One of the best F1 games, thanks for sharing
@@retrohardwaregarage171 I agree, for the year 2000 it was an excellent game with beautiful graphics.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 I'm a big fan of F1 games but I miss this one...I need to find a copy
@@retrohardwaregarage171 F1 Racing Championship is one of the best F1 racing games of that period, it’s more a simulator than an arcade game. Curiously it never was very well known.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 Did you know Ubisoft developed an F1 Racing Championship 2 but due to licensing laws they couldn't have official team names and driver names? It was later released as Racing Simulation 3. It was a big flop due to Geoff Crammond games now being at the forefront. I still like it though. It's basically F1 Racing Championship game with some fine tuning.
@@philt6440 Very interesting, I didn’t know that. I will check it out. I like F1 racing games a lot, from 1994 to 2000 I was a F1 fanatic :). Even now I constantly look at the races from those years and the ones before when Senna Prost Mansell fought each other.

@@philt6440 it’s challenging but also a lot of fun to drive.
Nice

Another interesting game
Schumacher the best F1 driver ever in my opinion
His car was pretty crap compared to the Williams Renault for '96, '97 season and he still took Hill and Villeneuve the distance. But yes he was rightly disqualified in 1997.
@@philt6440 in 94 and 95 he won the championship even though the Williams cars were clearly superior to his Benetton. And in 98 and 99 the McLaren Mercedes was too far superior to his Ferrari. Senna and Prost for most of their careers drove the best cars on the field, Schumacher almost always drove the second of third card on the grid and still won the championship in 94 and 95 and was close to winning it in 97 and 98. In 99 he broke his legs and couldn’t compete.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 don't get me wrong I still regard him as the best driver of that era. Only really appreciated his achievements after he retired though and watched the races back. I was a big Hill fan at the time. Saw both Hill and Schumi up close as their teams did testing in their garages at Spa in '96. Friday you could walk in the pits if it wasn't too busy. Great times! Different times! And better times 👍
@@philt6440 the best F1 years in my opinion were from 85 to 2000. Schumacher was clearly superior to Hill. Schumacher in an inferior car won the championship in 94 and 95 against Hill who drove the fastest car on the grid, the Williams-Renault.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 Schumacher should never have won in '94 though. That move deserved a points reset as much as the move in '97 on Jacques.
Looks more like a simulator than an arcade game
Yup. It's the third F1 title by ubisoft. They worked with Williams Renault team to simulate a real world experience as much as possible into the game.
