What would be the benefit to tie the starting knot of the cross last? I can see 1: in case of missed somewhere, you can always start over without loosing the length of the string. Are there other benefits?

For a 16x19, 100 inch racquet. I personally use 20 ft for the mains and 18 ft for the crosses. Two piece method. Most packs are only 38 ft and 39 ft.

on what side of the racquect you should start the crosses, on the oposide side of the cross tie-knot mark or on the same side of the cross tie-knot mark?

nice video..i run in the first TWO crosses to minimize the friction at that critical intersection of outside (SS) main and second cross. can you change where the crank handle ends up ?

Great fast finger weaving, nice. That is where you add or cut down lots of stringing time. And, tie off time in non user friendly frame grommet holes.

Noticed you used double hitch as finishing for mains,from your experience is double hitch any worse than parnell or both are on par ?

What are the pros and cons of 2 and 4 knots

When you have swivel clamps you can pull tension on the top cross much earlier, when the clamp needed on that side is free. But you can also do it with the Neos by putting the second glide bar in also for crosses and pull the first cross earlier.

I have been stringing racquets for 23yr old ex D1 player who hits really big. He was popping strings on the pure aero so he updated to new Speed MP. He is popping strings now within an hour. I have tried all kinds of strings and all kinds of tensions but same result. Starting to think I may be doing something wrong, but I really don’t think so. Have you had any issues with string breakage and the speed mp?

I doubt you are removing the slack completely. You will have better result with softer string.

All pros put 5-20% extra on last main and cross. It is not necessary but more professional. It is even more needed for LO.

Hi, Thanks for the cool video. I have NEOS 1500. I am having some issues when pulling and releasing the lock after clamping. 1) During pulling, my tension head travels quite a bit (more for soft string but way more than yours). 2) During releasing the lock after clamping my tension head makes sound and travels back. In your case it barely moves and very gentle. Is there any adjustment that I can make to fix this? Other question: where do you lube or what cleaning do you do in the tension head? Thanks

I tried your method of measuring the string for the crosses and i ended up with almost 4 extra ft at the end, which is unacceptable for me, to much waste. But i like the idea since you are never short at least

You started the crosses at the wrong side

This is not going to work for someone that doesnt have a reel

Dude, you’re pulling from a reel, what about when using a single pack of 40 ft string ? When doing the 2 piece stringing if you add two extra measurements you’ll run out of string for the crosses, can you tell us how to measure string for 2 piece using a single pack of 40 ft string ?

I use a prince neo stringing machine also. I find the racket are starting to move around more and more. Any suggestions on how to create a more effective and secure environment for the racket on the 2 clamp machine?
