Nice review, I know you put a lot of time to make this. I am just now getting into good coffee, you sold me I will go with the whole kit for outdoor adventuring and truck camping.

This tent really makes no sense. It's a glamping tent, so why make it so damn short? You've got the floor space, now give us the head room.

I wish you would have made this years ago. Very well made review. My wife and I bought this as our first backpacking tent on sale. With us and our larger dog it fits us. My wife Loves it and I do enjoy the space but I didn't realize how heavy it really was. We do not carry the ground cloth or most of the stakes (none that came with), or the multiple sacks. so that drops a good bit of weight. But still heavy for the long miles we want to put in now. It did work great as our first backpacking tent though and is a wonderful car camping tent

As far as not having a drip pan, you could get a pan to put under there yourself. Like a skinny bread pan or something. There's always a way to get around a problem.

Thank you for this. Actually, in my country wild camping is prohibited by law and most trails in national parks are one-day trips. There's no reason for me to buy an ultralight backpacking tent. This one looks good enough to be used when camping with my significant other for a couple of nights in a designated area, especially since we arrive by car.

I wonder how this compares with the Fellow Stag X pour over dripper ..?

pretty disappointing it only comes with one sippy lid, seems like they could have designed this with on lid for each cup... for as much thought that went into everything else like the superfluous plastic sleeve to prevent the grinder finish from scuffing off on the inside of the cups, i feel like the hinge pins are very small for the amount of force and leverage required to pulverize coffee beans with a crank grinder.

Good review: 1. Can plastic Nesting Cup (for storing grinder) be used as a third cup? 2. Will included lid fit on aforementioned Nesting Cup? 3. Will Snow Peak Hot Lips fit on the included Nest Mugs? 4. Will cone style paper filters fit in the Dripper attachment instead of using included stainless one? Thanks!

Didn’t anticipate such suspense when I clicked on this video. I was on the edge of my seat watching little homie try not to get squashed.

I just ordered the basic, $50 kit that includes the 10oz mug, the pour over device/section, the mesh bag/filter, and the lid. I order my coffe pre-ground and go through it fairly regularly, so I don't foresee myself needing anything more. I'm hoping this will be a great way to make decent coffee when on the go. Currently, I'm using a large Stanley combination french press and mug so this should be a really nice upgrade. How has your set held up since you made the video? Is there anything else you've added or taken away from your coffee making kit?

You shouldn't handle them barehanded. That "slime" helps protect them from disease and parasites. However, beautiful catch!

I adore the fact that you just casually swing around while reviewing this beautiful piece of kit.

As much and it’s not a great “backpacking” tent.. I believe if your solo no. But I have it for myself and my 2 kids (5,10)and a dog. This is a nice “small” tent for multiple people. We are all shorter below 5’4” and can all lay comfortably vertically along the horizontal length of the tent. Unfortunately light weight doesn’t work when you solo with kids. I got it for the largest floor space to weight/ height ratio for the size and price. And yes the zipper is very annoying 😅
