im gonna do this mission, ive been wondering and paused the game for like a whole year, but this, this is exactly what defines me, a rebel, the rebel path, thats me.

This ending was amazing as ex-Corpo V. Felt like a disgruntled fired employee coming back to wreak absolute havoc.

To me this should be the lore accurate finale. It does both a good job of wrapping up the game's ending and gives the player and absolute power fantasy so I feel like it satisfies both audiences well.

Really can't be overstated how tonally appropriate and well executed this soundtrack was.

Arasaka, plans a million contingency plans against any possible vector router of attack BUT the most simple one, a head on one man army walk in

I just finished this game; this ending today. Previously (before playing C277) I found this song just some generic over technotuned gonk slop compared to the dignified Cello version that Johnny has. But now that I completed the game; i realized. I dont want to be johnny; at the start of the game you tend to want to idealize and be as "cool" as mister terrorist in your head is. Hes just more cool by default; but you come to love the badass that V turns into by the end of the game, someone who stops at nothing not even continuous relic malfunctioning. Which makes me love this song more than ever, rather than the generic cool guy theme that is The Rebel Path: Cello in Johnny's missions. Its YOUR theme that you earnt yourself; as the killer V is, its a song you cant appreciate compared to the other ones until you beat the whole game. Maybe this is a massive gonk explanation considering the cello theme is literally remixed into the song, but i think its a good take overall Love cyberpunk, really made me kerzenzisob

I do kinda wish they had mixed in V's theme from the title screen in this routes medley because it kinda feels like even in V's route, it's still about Johnny

Imagine how terrifying it was to be an Arasaka guard. You’re part of the strongest company in the world, your company is untouchable and you have the best gear and security in the world. Then you get a maximum security level alarm that something is killing everyone and coming for you. It might be another terrorist attack like how Johnny and a group of elites did it 50 years ago. Only to come face to face with one merc. One person has killed their way from the top of Arasaka tower to the bottom and now you’re in their way. What are you going to do that the dozens of men, mechs, and drones before you couldn’t succeed in doing?

I went in with Johnnys tanktop, glasses, davids jacket on top with Rebeccas shotgun Guts doing most of the work. THIS is what it means to cyberpunk.

Managed to do this before Breach Protocol was taken down. Until smasher i didnt need to use any guns, it was terryfing

A lot of good points are brought up abou t the ending, less friends die etc. But i like to think that, maybe, just maybe, the story of one person who started as basically nothing took down one of the largest corps in night city, disabling said corp for possibly months, that the story might inspire others to rise up. Fight the corporations. Finally get a happy ending for the City of Dreams. But then again, wrong city, wrong people.

I did this just with gorilla arms my V was a total Psycho. I even got a jacket with the name psycho on hahaha

I swear im getting PTSD just listening to this. Like i can just replay everything iv done in that game in my mind lmao 😂
