2024 Mazda CX 90 window sweep removal(Don't remove door panel)
This video will show you how to remove the window sweeps from the front and rear door roll down windows. The tools that worked well for us were a small flat head tip screw driver and a plastic panel popper from Harbor Freight. Once you get the 2 screws out from each panel just pull from the front top side of the door panels and release the first 3 or 4 from left to right. The far sides on each panel have a different clip which releases by pulling up from the bottom. We advise against pulling the door panel completely because it has the same bad setup that the 2004-2006 Honda Accord 4 doors had. The plastic keeper for the interior door handle release is pron to breaking. It's metal on plastic.

For reinstalling the speaker do you need to remove and replace the seal/glue that’s around it?
I did not. Just try to keep it together as best as you can.

In a sense, yes. Keep the heat moving though. We just applied new double sided tape, if you buy new ones they should come with adhesive on the back already.

You realize this is illegal and if you get into an accident, especially at night, you'll probably be blamed for low/no visibility.
I don't think that is accurate at all. Car manufacturers are not blamed when people get pulled over for speeding.

@@MTSSacramento hey thanks for the response. I watched a few more videos and actually was able to get it off successfully and back on with no "fully" broken clips. Two were a little ify but it was a overall success.

It's brand new so I would say bring it to the dealer. We were tinting the windows and the window sweeps on the Platinum seemed tighter that usual .

There is sound proofing goop on the factory speaker. It could be the speaker itself or something in the door panel.
