Last week, I made a video on cooking with an inverter, a Harbor Freight Inverter, and a car battery. I also conducted a proof of concept on my standard Traeger. This week, I picked up a Traeger Ranger off of the FB Marketplace. I cleaned it up and upgraded my Power Pack to a LifePo4 Battery. Then I cooked some Costco chicken wings that turned out amazing.

Yep. I got it. There are a million Predator 3500 videos out there. And they're soon to be obsolete with the addition of the Predator 5000, or are they? In my opinion, the 3500 is about to flood the Market Place. This means you are going to be able to pick them up for a really good price, so why not mod them as you see fit. Personally I love it you upgraded the wheels so it move’s easier and yet you didn’t alter the generator at all. Set it on the gen wheels stay clean lift it off no extra weight. Genius.

According to Foxtrot Mike 9 mm barrels are supposed to be torqued to 34ft lb

as long as that model does not have its own integrated regulator in the way (would require more work in removing or bypassing it). most of these conversion kits are generic and have a flow restrictor (like a screw that is tuned to the size of the engine and load) and most kits have you adjust the restriction for ng flow rate to match the engine size and intended load anyways. You can see the screw adjuster on the 90 degree fitting that goes into the outlet on the included BIG regulator on both kits. main issue is just the sizing of fittings. The ngk plug a good point as most generators come with a poor stock spark plug. should be gapped less for ng operation and 1 step down cooler range.
Hey, just so you know the Montgo upper and the Mat-9 uppers are a bit different. The Montgo uppers are a bit shorter and seem taller and run on what looks like an earlier generation of their design. They're on sale because they're discontinued and being phased out. The new ones (more like what you have there) are the Mat-9 and the Mat-9K uppers that are going for 500ish. They all seem cool to me, so I agree that for $350 the Montgo is a cool upper. Just wanted to point out the distinction.

I'm a disabled veteran who cannot use my hands, These plugs should be OUTLAWED!! They are another Nanny state POS! WTF?? Many thanks for your video, I bought Leviton, very similar to yours for my old camper van and it has 4, very small, Phillips screws on the back. Sure hope it works on a Leviton and thanks again!
YAHOO! it works on Leviton also. Remove 4 very small Phillips screws on the back. pull the receptacle apart. Then remove both white pieces of plastic and the spring on each plug. Put it back together and you will have an easy plug to use, screw the Nanny state.

Looking for a conversion kit for the Wen 4800, because it only weighs 77 lbs! Do you know if these kits could work with another brand of gen?
No I don’t. But if you reach out to Grenergy they can probably help. The did is pretty smart and most of these gennies use the same or similar carb setups.
Yes, they should have one for that generator. I just bought one for my WEN 4750
