I just want to give my heartfelt thanks for what you all have done to both help and to heal my neighbors here in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. It is completely true that it was private citizens, Christian organizations, churches, and heroes like these that were the boots on the ground when many lives were at stake. There are so many hills and haulers in our mountains that it would have been impossible to have helped everyone even if FEMA had shown up before two weeks. We have a long way to go, but thankfully many were able to survive due to the community working together. We really should never depend on the government anyway ; FEMA needs to be completely reconstructed so that when they finally do arrive, they are not taking from the resources of the desperate people in need and they need to also understand the culture with whom they are dealing. The Appalachian people are not idiots , but for good reason, we often do not trust the government and we do believe in the second amendment. So if we arrive into town or the FEMA offices with firearms, it isn’t to harm, but it is for self protection. There were a lot of wild animals in the forests who were completely discombobulated, scared & hungry. Our hunting skills were also desperately needed in order to provide food. God bless you all and God bless America. Trump 2024.

When I was trying to look into what was really happening in the aftermath of Heleen. All I was seeing was destruction. The first video I saw of your Ariel Recovery. Was the first video I saw of relief and hope for those trapped on the ground. Real life heroes. The first time I had seen the best of the American spirit in so many years. A beautiful reminder of what the American people are capable of when we come together to help one another in a crisis. My house was covered with trees and non livable. Aerial Recovery helped me and my neighbors uncover the debris off our houses. I live in the Augusta Ga area. They came here too. So thankful for this non profit and all they do for the veterans who are repurposed and for all of us who need the help. God Bless you all
