Are you using the HD Guppy at all? I can get away with 10-12lb but the original guppy heads im using 6-8lb. The reason I asked. I found that the HD heads show up better and plus have a 2/0 hook at is better imo. Thanks!!

Great video! Good for me as a Swede starting to use single jointed glidebaits instead of what i most often used before, glidebait with a tail. You didnt mentioned shen you used the Single jointed ones, but i kinda know anyway. Am working on getting my hand on some S-Wawer 168 first, and then 200 one. Think they would cover much of sinlge jointed ones togehter with my SG 3D Shine Glider and 3Ð Bleak Glide Swimmer. Also thinking and trying to find the SPRO KGB Chad Shad here, as it is in the country i just cant get hold of the company. Ill get one of those, too expensive for me. My line goes at ~30$ really, but will cough up some ~45$ for S-Wawer 200. Hopefully we can get them for a good price as it isnt something they want to stock, the online/IRL fishing store helping us get the wawers. Jointed glidebaits are NOT used much for pike here in sweden, or Europe. I saw directly the potential when my SG 3D Shine Glider hit the water and a 40" fat pike bit it but felt the hooks and didnt return... hadnt even set the drag up yet so probably would have lost it anyway. Since then, two weeks ago, jointed gliders is all i think about fishing and buying. Love how extremely versatile they are..j You can fish them in so so many ways..

Hey Jacob that right down my alley side scan 👍! I’ve got a hummingbird solix 12 g3, I thought this was the greatest thing I’ve ever had when it came out, I can find fish and than just cast at them, don’t need FFS. You taught me a lot, I’m still trying to identify the species. Just going to take practice. Great stuff, I’m still learning watching how the bass are reacting to your baits , just don’t like fishing with it. I took my son on a guide crappie trip with FFS , neither one of use liked it. I couldn’t tell I had a bite, the guide had to tell me you got one, I said I couldn’t tell I had a bit! LMAO! So we went and both bought a hummingbird 12. We love them! Keep it coming! Good stuff, already got those, I don’t use FFS , just DI, and SI, 2D I’m old school finesse, I like grubs, craws, and creature baits,but use Duckett rods, got them from JW. My favorite is small flukes. I paint them, mostly perch colors. Try them they work great in big bolder rocks and bluffs, that’s my juice, don’t tell anyone! lol keep the faith! 👍🥸🙏

Crush City Mayor- Storm Largo shad CC Bronco Bug- Dolive Beaver CC Cleanup Craw- SK Rage Craw and Googan Krackin Craw Last but not least CC Freeloader- Hog Farmer Spunk Shad So nothing was designed by Wheeler it was all knocked off by Wheeler and the more I see of Wheeler the more I don’t care for him like him cutting off Matt Becker really made me lose respect for him.

Way to many people copying the Hog Farmer Spunk Shad and the Crush City baits were supposed to be designed by Wheeler but every one of them were knockoffs of other baits, so why wouldn’t Boyd Duckett not jump in the mix and try to copy everyone else’s designs he’s a piece of crap anyway! But I really like Jacob Wall he is a stand up guy and a great fisherman it’s a shame he is in a situation where Duckett is one of his sponsors.

I’m sure they’re great baits, but me and mid/hover strolling don’t get along too well. I don’t ever think the bait is doing what it’s supposed to do.

I enjoy the “whys” of fishing. On the water explaining why you’re fishing a certain area due to: cover, structure, temp, overcast, bait selection, etc etc. I can somewhat imitate/parrot when I’m on the water and learn by doing. I’d check out the rods, but I’m Phenix through and through. Good luck going forward.
