Really glad I found your video. Thank you for the great tips on setting up this winch. Bought it for my half ton truck to use in the bed and a just in case for offroading. I know it's a little small to pull my truck but it'll work in a pinch. I was getting ready to return the winch after just having bought it due to the fact that all the electronics are external and with my set up I would have no way to make it modular and protect everything from the weather. Defiantly going to do a similar set up to yours. Keep the great ideas coming.

i use my 2000 pound winch to pullup the tailgate. well ramp/ and to help unload my boss hoss trike worksout just fine do however need to get a solar charger and controller to keep the battery charged, one of my brilliant ideas was hey why not put my huge generator on the trailer and use it to charge the battery lol i would need the winch to pull up the generator.. not a good idea lol

Use a hose end sprayer. It will cover quickly and from a distance.

Promethean is fantastic BUT spray it where you will NOT breathe it. It is toxic for humans to breathe. I sprayed my daughter's BDF's before she deployed to Afghanistan. They have nasty sand flies and other bugs that harbor malaria. Promethean will stay in clothes up to two weeks even when washed. Best wishes getting rid of carpenter bees! 👍

We have to demolish our shed. The front is the home to carpenter bees. I am concerned that the bees may go after the guys that do the demo. Any suggestions? I don’t want the guys to get swarmed.

I have heard people say wind chimes can help keep them away, something about the constant sound waves annoys them. I have about 20 of them living in an old shed I have at the back of my property. It's far enough away that I just let them be, they are beneficial and pretty much harmless, but they do freak people out a lot.

Your stump is like 4 feet tall, you could have made it easier if you attached your chain about 3ft high to get leverage, your rope is so low to the ground is it like you are trying to plow it out of the ground. As far as being weary of the chain slipping, you could have notched the higher point and wrapped your chains in the notched so it wouldn't slip.

Carpenter bees don't sting you. There fighting each other over the females. they can become very destructive is you have a infestation. Im having a small proplem with carpenter bees right now. My deck is alot smaller.

Carpenter bees suck, just sprayed my deck with Cyzmic CS at about 10ml per gallon water, hopefully it works!!

I've tried a number of things. First time I spotted a hole maybe 4-5 years ago I was chewing gum. Rolled it up in a ball and filled the hole. Still, there. I saw on youtube to fill the hole with netting. I used screen and squirted a single use super glue, this was after I sprayed some bug killer. The bee was crawling on the deck. I think it's wings were glued. I killed 6 today. Still after two that are still coming around. Caught the 6 in a net and stepped on them. I found a hole and put a screw in. Still there. I don't seem to have a lot of them. But, I am constantly checking for holes. The best thing I have found to plug the holes is VERY sticky glue. I had some left over from having a sink replaced. It's clean and easy to squirt it in. I see them at work because they drill their holes on the deck 2x4s holding up the roof. Little bastards.

Lemon and lime juice worked fine for my carpenter bees. Then go seal your deck. Simple.

I'm finishing up a Terrain King my Dad bought new in 1972. The gearbox is huge and the main shaft is splined and it still runs as smooth as butter. My dads mantra was if I can push it over this will cut it up and that was a fact. This brush hog has been through hell and back. I had almost forgotten about it and when I needed another brush hog for another tractor I remembered that I left this one sitting right where the old 35 series clutch yoke had broken and I had to drag it over small pine trees to get it out of the woods. Had to have beeen there about 15 years or so. I am having to fix some holes in the deck but this thing is a beast and will cut grass again, soon.

AMDRO in 1 gallon spray bottle does work. I love to use a spray bottle with 30% vinegar, also works well. Like to spray them while flying, good target practice.
