I can mess around a bit, see if I can replicate it consistently!

Alright so after trying a bit, the issue seems to be that when you go directly to the right without going through the beans again, the vine sprite seems to interfere with the keyhole spawn!

@@zoeytastic666 Interesting, The beanwraps take quite a lot of sprite slot space so makes sense sortof, i have never done that and no one did that through testing, i suppose in most cases doing this blind you would wrap an extra time letting the vine be finished, but still not good imo, still tho..... if you have gotten this far, manage to do that, there aint many options left for the player tho..... (talking about a blind playthrough here) so i suppose its fine....for now.....but good to know what caused the issue. Thank you

I was unable to find a way to beat: Star World 1 (normal and secret exit, since you have to be big), Vanilla Dome 2 (normal and secret exit) the levels after for that matter (which are Vanilla Ghost House, Vanilla Dome 3, Vanilla Dome 4, Lemmy's Castle, Cheese Bridge Area normal and secret exit, Cookie Mountain) Sunken Ghost Ship and then all of Bowser Valley since it is inaccessible.

​@@zoeytastic666 For Vanilla Dome 2 secret exit, its possible to use two buzzy bettles to go under the screen (although its extremely difficult)

@@zoeytastic666 I assume im unable to send links. Its possible to use the buzzy beetle waking up to jump under the screen (you also clip the slope to get inside of the ground)

Yea, the Sunken Ghost Ship is absolutely unbeatable with the rules laid out, same with both Vanilla Dome 2 normal and secret exit sadly. Star World 1 would be beatable with a cloud if you would allow Yoshi (tho idk if you can get a cloud without getting a coin). Maybe it'd be interesting to see minimum coins, minimum powerups or something like that :D

It's theoretically almost ready, practically I'd have to play the whole hack again. I forgot to get the secret exit in Nonary Palace and am therefore locked out to fully complete the hack. I cheated past it, thinking I would just go back to it later, get the secret exit, cut it into the video, explain it in the description and be done with it. However this fully killed my mood to play as it doesn't feel right, but I also don't have the motivation to completely replay the hack over a stupid mistake I made.

I definitely had MMD vibes from it (which is a really good thing)!

This hack really is something else, amazing to watch and really fun to play through!

Considering it's roughly a 23% chance to activate quick claw it's not even that bad, sadly the text for proccing quick claw will most likely lose more frames than you gain from not having to lose frames to hit moves.

@@zoeytastic666 yeah too bad that text appears in later gens it doesn't in vanilla gen 3 oh well lol

Seeded would definitely be a better solution, but without a program to generate seeds, I don't think I want to deal with :D. Though this in general can be improved, for example restarting the entire run instead of sitting still at the beginning of the run, using items in the bag or another way to waste a turn if they use Protect, multi hit move to deal with Focus Sashes. Maybe I will improve this eventually :D

There definitely is a lot of room for optimization ! And it seems at least to me, that this TAS was mainly meant to be an attempt at making a low enough time, without trying to make THE lowest time possible. TAS runs like those make a really good job at showing where time can be saved for the future, I fully support you if you wanna make things more optimized :>

i have runs done on Vanilla current routing all quests for Vanilla i've done NG+ and Any% on Vanilla

It's honestly the best imo! I tried others but Bizhawk has always been the one i feel comfortable with! :3

I like snes9x personally, but, Bizhawk has been prominent in my Mario emulation experience
