honestly i would be all for a sonic 06 remake

I wouldn't mind a remake, an 06 that isn't jankey would be a good game

Remake and remaster are completely different. If they were remaking wave ocean then of course there’s a reason to be concerned about adding the boost. But if was a remaster then it would be less valid because it would be more like how Sonic generations was where there were not very many changes in the remaster. So yes they would change a lot the question is how much

After everything I've heard about people not liking Chaos Island, I am so relieved and happy to see someone else who considers it to be the best stage in Shadow Generations. Granted, my reasons for liking it as much as I do are somewhat different(for me it's the super fun level design even and the absolutely incredible music), but I'm just glad to see I'm not the only one who likes Chaos Island so much.

honestly, i'd like the remaster to have rewritten cutscenes because the story is just confusing as hell. hopefully they don't pull a sonic generations and actually reanimate some cutscenes.

i LOVE chaos island act 1 it feels so redeeming for frontiers

I understand why the people don't like doom morph, since act 1 sometimes requieres from you understanding of the mechanich that the game didn't actually teach to you and the act 2 pretty much use it in a very tame, sauceless way But once you understand that you can grapple onto things in three different ways, you get why the level is absolute peak, it would be for me the best level of the whole game if it managed to find a clever way to teach you the three uses of the morph without a hint text, but as it is now, still is easily a top 5 for me

Sky sanctuary was the one I disagreed with the most since I have the complete polar opposite opinion To me Its the absolute worst part of sonic generations, even moreso than planet wisp because at least thats the last level

some corrections : PlayStation BIOS are essentially copyright protected system software for PS1 (real or PSClassic) and PS2. you can dump them from an actual system with certain apps. (or you can download them if you want coz i doubt anyone really cares for that lol its like the worst kept secret that everyone downloads it) however for PS3 emulation all you need is the latest System software update from Sony's website , and an unprotected version of the game you're trying to emulate (which is usually dumped game folders you get when dumping a game with a hacked PS3) , the Package files won't work unless you also apply the license file.

Emulation is King , Game Preservation is King , and anyone and anything that says otherwise is Evil. one day people will either get smarter to emulate in silence if lawmakers decide to be dumb and crackdown on people. or the people will find their power and change the law because NO ONE should be forced to get the real thing for hardware and software that is no longer officially sold by its creators. its called Abandonware

I owe you deeply for putting Rail Canyon Act 1 at the bottom and Chaos Island Act 1 at the top of Shadow Generations stages. Doom Morph is fun!

Unironically, Rail Canyon was probably the WORST possible pick from the Heroes Stages. There are SO many interesting and unique concepts from Sonic Heroes stages and Sonic Team literally chose the most boring one... TWICE. Because let's be honest here, it's not like Seaside Hill is in any way groundbreaking. I said it once and i'll say it again. Sonic Generations should've used Grand Metropolis and Shadow Generations should've used Mystic Mansion/ Hang Castle.

It's funny how my two favorite stages from this games...are the ones that are from Sonic 06. My first time playing Generations I remember really hating Crisis City for some elements of the level but this time, I loved Crisis City, specially the modern stage as I really didn't mind much the 2D section as you can make through it pretty fast if you know where to go, also the music in Crisis City is top notch. But, what really surprised me was Kingdom Valley, specially Act 1. I love how open for a modern 3D Sonic stage it is and how many different routes are there and how varied it is, the final section has a pretty good visual and it's also exciting to make it through.

Don't forget the Movie level based of a location in the new Sonic 3 movie will be coming soon. I've also heard this game apparently is getting DLC, I don't know how true it is but we'll have to see

I have nothing but respect for a fellow Chaos Island Act 1 enjoyer.
