For Star Wars The Phantom Menace I was so disappointed in this movie.

There was always a lesson in the show. Still love all those black and white shows. They need to do more black and white shows today. The darlings played some good music.

Since this originally aired it has been noted almost everybody in Mayberry wasn't married except Otis but yet was marketed as a family show! I still watch this show today altho now it's with my grandkids. 😘

Aunt bee was only mistake they made , she didn’t fit the part, she was too high class snooty and had a accent , but played a ditzy yet well trained cook and home maker , didn’t make sense ! They should have had a more southern granny type that would be more believable to be from that region , loveable but knew how to keep everyone in line !

It’s hard believe it was just a show ,, they really made u believe it was a real place with these people living together , the funny thing is how they used some people for multiple characters

Don Knotts won a bunch of Emmys for his Barney ..all deserved!

Andy once said the show was meant to have more of a 1930s feel as when he was growing up. It occurred to me that Opie is in fact Andy in his childhood. Andy was an only child too.

I had the opportunity to meet Jim Nabors many years ago in Hawaii. I flew him from Oahu to the Big Island and to Maui a few times. He was very sociable and very nice. I’m now a 71yo and a Retired Corporate Pilot who met a lot of people and went around the World many times. I’ve had a Great Life and if it ended today I would be fine with that!! Hopefully I will last a little longer though because I want to see my youngest daughter Happily Married with Children.

Whenever I miss my gramma I turn on the old Andy Griffith and watch aunt Bea her walk clothes jewelry her carriage and her speech and her looks! The most thing was my grandma was never seen without her apron and she always wore a dress. I even watched an episode where there was a picture on the wall that we had in our house! So lots of good happy memories!! Thank you!! Probably sounds corny but all true.

I watched this as a kid. I'm 55, my husband is 61. We watch it now on Pluto TV. It's the best!! It always had a lesson to learn, a moral to every episode. And it was good clean fun 😃❤️!!

I am re-watching the series now.. I still love it.. I am 62.. I watched when I was a kid, my kids watched it with me, and now my granddaughter is watching it with me.. a timeless classic
