Tux Paint 0.9.35 will add the ability to paste text from the clipboard using the Text and Label tools. Press Ctrl-V or Command-V on a physical keyboard, or use the new "Paste" button on the built-in on-screen keyboard.

Tux Paint 0.9.34 will include a new mode in the "Fill" (flood fill / bucket fill) tool: "Eraser". Instead of filling with a chosen color, it will erase an area, exposing the background image (e.g., a template) or color chosen when creating the original picture (via the "New" dialog).

If you're on Linux, and have Tux Paint Config. installed, yes you can just run "tuxpaint-config" to launch it. If you need more help, let us know! Along with TH-cam, we're on various other social media platforms, have public email mailing lists, and you can also email us directly!
