I think that they called it the CV-47 to make it seem Czech, the common prefixes for Czech firearms is either VZ (meaning model) and CZ (a gun company) so it is likely a combo of the two

I'm not an expert on ballistics but like... I'm pretty sure a bullet hole is gonna be an ouchy, penetrating or not. So the con presented for the 5.7 overpenetrating is kinda eh.

Reminds me of how simplified ammo is in PUBG. Where it's just 9mm, 5.56, 7.62 and 12g and some strong sniper ammo that I never got (unless we count having one to the face from who tf knows where). I really would like to see devs try to load 7.62x54R into M700 xD

the 5,56 is originally .223 winchester for the M16A1, although .223 is now used for civilian shooting. 5.56 is also developed by fairchild and remington, not FN (also the .338 is not developed by sako, its .338 federal thats developed by sako)

9mm is actually semi-rimmed, where the rim is *slightly* larger than the case diameter. It also semi-tapered, with a nearly imperceptible taper. This is a quirk of 9mm being a very old cartridge. This is why the internal geometry of double stack 9mm magazines is weird.
