She might think cuz there is a million versions of her out there happy with their girlfriend, that she is nothing and wrong for not making it work. This doesn't lessen a person cuz she can do what none of the others can do, she walks in eternity and she can find love again because she is unique. There never will be another version like her because even if she thinks she is one of many, she's wrong, she made the choices that brought her to that point. She made them because she is not like the others and she is an amazing person and I hope she has many more adventures because of her choices.

Lezzies are probably the biggest self-haters in the world. They live life on easy mode so they have to create problems for themselves until they get worked up into existential tizzy. The moral of this cartoon is the most canned answer to a made-up crisis ever.

This film is one of my all time favorite explorations of visual/art direction. Your masterful mixture of detailed spaces that feel lived in, fuzzy texture, comic book iconography, mixed media, and your meta look at the process of making the short, not to mention the way you interweave it into Ruby's journey is wonderful. Very cool short movie! Please though, you want to avoid using very high pitched noises. It's quite painful to my poor autistic brain :( I need to find a way to do a highpass filter on my computer, every couple of months I encounter noises like this

I think this might mean how people can lure you in by being warm at first, but then as you get closer and closer and they convince you to do things that might harm you they can damage you easily. Especially because the guy was at a very vulnerable point, cold and lost in space, and it's easier for people to take advantage of you when you need help. Great film! I love your work.
