I just searched and it said banana trees take 9 - 12 months to fruit.. Maybe you aren't warm enough. We have one here in town in Colorado that grows in a GeoThermal Grow Dome.

I forgot to say I also can raw pack fresh salsa, but I waterbath it. It isn’t necessary to pressure can it as long as you have the acidity level accurate. I use a PH Test strip. They are on Amazon and cheap. And if you add jarred lemon juice with at least 5% acidity or vinegar also with 5% acidity, you are fine to waterbath this. And now I have learned about steam canning! Anything you can waterbath that is 45 minutes or less, you can safely steam can. It takes so much less energy and time to steam can because it heats up so fast, and you don’t need so much heat to keep it at the rolling boil. I am loving the steam canner!

The Ball lids they say do NOT HEAT it up any more before use.

Dude! You just saved my sanity! I have three champion gens, the smaller ones always start and run without an issue, old gas, bad gas, neglected, doesn't matter, they start and run. But my dual fuel 7500 w has been nothing but a pain in my butt to get running. Once it's running, it's fine. But I've had the carburetor apart a dozen times, thinking it was jets that were gummed up, but that was never the case. I guess in all the fiddling around somehow I rattled the solenoid enough that it would start working eventually. Now I know how to solve this! Thank you so much for making this video 👍

Are u hot water canning it OR pressure canning it for 105 minutes and at what pressure?? Fish and seafood are @15psi

I keep cases of evaporated milk on the shelf. We don’t drink milk much, however having evaporated milk on the shelf makes it great. I love this recipe and will definitely be making it. Could you do a pumpkin spice creamer. I’ll even buy half and half for an easy recipe.

Why you didn't use the seals/gaskets to avoid water access ?

When I separated mine this year I had a horrible time maintaining the paper on the garlic. Very disappointed. I have some that will be fine. I have three varieties. Two will be okay, not so sure about our elephant garlic.

I looked everywhere for widemouth glass lids for almost 2 years and wasn’t able to find any. I had the metal rings, but couldn’t find the glass inserts. Glad you were able to find it glass lids. I prefer using glass not only because it’s reusable, but also because I feel it’s a better option than plastic.
