Mat Cauthon is like Batman, or spider man. Despite the odds and lack of ability he finds a way. Rand is obv like Superman, so you expect him to be able to do anything. Perrins like aquaman / professor x. He’s got the wolves and can. Smell your thoughts lol. Mats just that guy tho…forever in touch with his inner child. Even with no eye lol

This prologue is one of my favorite parts of the whole series. It really sets the tone for everything.

This is definitely a high point in the series- and it's probably the point where Mat's character reset really took hold- where he went from being just a tag along character (rather than just the Hornblower etc) and turned into his much more interesting 'Gambler' persona. IMHO, of course. (Later in that same time, where he goes on his crazy winning streak at dice, reconnects with Thom Merrilin, etc, was also a pivotal moment!). I really enjoyed listening to this- even though I've read it several times- great post!) Cheers!

If it wasnt for Mat's character becoming more charasmatic, funny, & interesting, i wouldn't have been able to finish the series. But, all of a sudden, Mat was improved, & charmed me into continuing with the rest of the books.

Why is it called "Ruidean Part 1", but theres no part 2. And it was uploaded 2years ago. I'd love a part 2. Mat is hilarious.

Im a female, & even i hate Aes Sedai, them know-it-all, stuck up b's on their high horse, they don't even like or get along with each other, they cant stand their own kind. And the Red Ajah is super scary and psycho 😮

"Asha'man. Kill!", & "Kneel.... or you WILL be knelt!" Best parts of the battle, & Taim is so cool in this!

When the music stops, & it gets all quiet, right before... "Ash'aman... Kill!" Then the intense music comes in, i get chills! The music u chose provokes emotions. I keep rewinding that part, lol. Great job! & was a great choice for the Short u produced.

This clip, along with your "Dumai's Wells", & "Battle for Maradon" clips are engrossing & captivating & very well done, I listen to them over & over & over & over again. I cant get enough of it. The music is perfect- for Matt, its light & playful. Perfect for his narrative in this situation, & hes always funny as hell. Your choices for the battle clips are also appropriate, & the intensity aligns with the intensity of the battle. Amazing! I wish they would add background music, like you do, to the audiobooks. It really does pull u into the story. You are very talented & diligent in your choices for the different audioclips u make. Your choices in the prose you pick out, as well as your choices in music, which are probably limited. Excellent work! You definitely put alot of thought into your work. They should hire you to add these highlights to the audiobooks.

My last comment says it was 11 months ago. A year later & i still keep coming back, repeatedly, to hear this! The score u put in makes it better than the audiobooks. And the hypnotizing visual graphic that moves in sync with the music, really pulls me in, even with my ADD, 😊
