thanks for the video. did you had to torque the mount to specs? Thanks
@@andrewyu7403 Thank you! No, I used my hands memory☺️ I think it is important for engine repairs, where microns must be measured.
Did you change both sides?
@@alanwalters-z5o No, only right side. Left side is ok at 130k…

Just do a setup for the accuracy then there is nothing wrong
ehhh, very disappointed with this saw, it would have been better to spend another 100 EUR and buy a Dewalt DWE7485-QS. Bosch measuring scale, inaccurate and moving, the table top is not straight.
That’s where I put my Apple CarPlay box at 🤫
Thats perfect place!!!😏
Yes, from Makita, the best
Do a brake mainternace video as well. Please.
Ok, I wanted to make rear brake maintenance video, as they are worn out…. Check for updates in next weeks.😊
You wasted my time
Sorry😊

This is really a review of a second hand, well used saw. Try calibration and just add shims etc to get it back right. All your complaints are very minor imo, im buying this saw myself if you want me to check anything or need a photo from the manual etc let me know 👍 The one im ordering those supports (left and right) come away, i wouldn't expect them to stay perfectly level.
Thanks for your opinion. Saw is good if you need it for housework. That's why I looked at all the things that I don't like, so that you can evaluate whether it fits or not before buying. For example, for very precise work, I recommend choosing the Makita DLM600. There is a video where I look at the lateral movement of the saw blade, for this saw it is close to 0.
@@BMIKE999 I concede my point. Your new Makita video puts things into perspective. At the end of the day you have the saw and I don't. I changed my mind, I'll get a nice Bosch or Makita instead when prime day comes up. Hopefully 🤞
@@byrne1916 you just need to really want it, sooner or later the saw will be in your workshop😊
GET OUT ON THE COUCH
IDIOT
I'm wondering if my 2019 i3s has bad mounts. I hear a thump when in reverse and in some instances moving forward after coming to an almost stand still I had the car checked and it was given a clean bill of health so I'm not sure if it's just normal play or something else is wrong. There is no evidence of bad or leaking mounts on my car FYI.
In my case there was no any sounds. Only leaked oil from bracket.
@@BMIKE999 Interesting
Wow eso me da miedo
I have this one for three years now and works fibe. I just bought a mitre fence for 100 €. This is thing that woodworkers do with much more expensive table saws. Can't call it a scum because of bad mitre fence of 300€ table saw. You are too negative. As you talk about professional you must know that it is not problem in plastic, than track that goes in slot that dont have bearings. That's why is buying a mitre fence regular thing. The sane is with paralel fence. Pros buy 2000 € table fence, and anyhow buy extra new paralel and mitre fence. So don't be so negative
Thank you, for your opinion😊
I don’t even have this car but this is a great video.
Thank you😊
Thanks for opening it up. Those guys could have just used a solid hard rubber mount but they took the time to design an oil filled rubber mount.
The oil filling is to make the bracket particularly soft. If it were filled with some rubber, it would still be harder and every kick down pressure on the pedal would feel like a small blow. The oil helps to be extra flexible. The lower mounts of the motor are oil-free, where such flexibility is not required. Thanks for your opinion👍
I have the same saw but mine doesn't have the same issues except the hard start and noise.
Then maybe I really folded the support myself while sawing something big
Dog can not eat that

Well thats a vid that just wasted my time
I agree
@@BMIKE999bro you’re the one that made it idiot
I have the kgsV 216 m model(difference between mine and this is ONLY the motor, it has a variable function so i can change the speed depending of the wood i use and it has a lean start), can say it has issues all parts were checked before first use, blade /parts were aligned to perfection the side extensions i have modified by installing a adjustable knob at the bottom(that fixed the issue and is also aligned perfectly with the body of the saw,i can press hard on the extensions with no issues),for the clamp i glued a piece of leather so it doesn't leave any marks on the wood, changed the blade with a 64 tooth bosh, also it can be used for furniture production if you use cutting tape , zero splinters, .. there are a lot of small tweaks that make this saw stand out , i would give it a 4.7/5 stars, far as your saw goes (motor aside as it's not the same as mine )those huge scratches on the main plate , the busted up saw channel plate and the spiderweb cracks that are all round the screw hole of the led array tells a lot of the neglect it came across, mine doesn't wiggle like that at all , the sound you have moving the blade up and down is probably the main spring,it looks like you cut something besides wood, you are aware that your saw is beat up,worn out and slightly damaged? Nice video overall
Thanks for the ideas and suggestions. Interesting to hear other experiences. If the saw had a soft stand and no lateral movement, it could really be used for furniture making. The main spring is not broken, I just have worked with this saw a lot. Perhaps the spring could be changed to a new one.
@@BMIKE999 btw a thing i have failed to mention and i hope you spread the word to your mates who have similar machines .. ---- The extensions that you pull out on each side have a gap of 4mm underneath and therefore they wobble up and down even with slight pressure and mess up the cut , but here's the thing, they fail to mention that the rubber pads on each of the 4 legs of the machine are also 4 mm if you remove the rubber pads the extensions will be flush on the surface, no more wobble no more stress. (i think the guys from the factory didn't consider the rubber pads when they designed it) Second thing : ---- If you are trying to cut smaller, thinner pieces you might notice that the blade doesn't cut all the way trough in other words the blade doesn't pull all the way back and leaves about 1-2mm of splinters on your piece(maybe only i had that issue) to fix that there is a small screw behind the blade guard on your right next to the exhaust tube, that screw let's you lower the blade entirely so it is deeper inside the blade channel extending the backwards reach just a tiny bit for it to cut all the way like it suppose to. cheers mate!
Oh, it's interesting. Need to create a video about these settings. Thanks for sharing with your knowledge.😊

Your review is poor these are generally for site work purposes it's not for chipingdale furniture it's designed to keep the cost down and make it more affordable to a wider audience. You shouldn't be playing with this machine if you can't overcome this Very minor issue.
That's right, this table saw is for engineers, not the general consumer. Engineers need to break it down and understand how not to make tools. This video is for everyone who buys the Bosch Profesional brand without seeing it in person. It is not a product of the Profesional series, as the name suggests. Complete deception of consumers.

Is it really necessary to disconnect hv battery with this job?
You need to disconect HV battery if you have any kind of work from/ in engine bay. It takes only a few seconds to disconect it. + You need to gently lift engine. Any error on any step and you are baked. (For example you smash some HV cable with hammer, tool…etc) !!!The same procedure if you need to change left side, only on left side you don’t have free space!!! There you can touch HV cable many times. !!!☠️☠️So never work in engine bay if HV battery is connected!!!!☠️☠️
Great stuff
Thanks😊

New mounting bracket : www.hubauer-shop.de/en/carparts/i-models-parts-catalog/i3-meg/
Greetings ... Great video.. it happens to many people, and BMW has not done anything about it... Service stations take a lot of money from people for that work because the car's warranty has expired... I have questions.. Where did you buy the part?? (I know there is an improved version as well) What is the condition of the other engine mounts? I'm getting ready to modify the engine mounts on our car.. I bought glue that turns into strong flexible rubber.. I will glue the cracks that have started... and I will glue a bigger tire around to get the same effect as on that bracket you showed (more tires and less stretching) I see that they are filled with oil... I think that they could also be filled with this rubber-glue... to get strength... I don't believe that it will affect the vibrations much, especially the rear wheels. Maybe at least try...
Thank you! I bought the part in the online shop: www.hubauer-shop.de/en/carparts/i-models-parts-catalog/i3-meg/ You must compare the part numbers because there is a version with a thicker mounting screw. For now, the remaining mounts are ok - 120 K per clock. You can experiment with the glue, but I don't believe you can glue it. The power of the motor is huge if you push pedal to metal. I have seen polymer replacements but no experience. The oil fill could be to achieve a softer vibration reduction with a harder rubber shell. If the whole part were a solid monolith, then the vibration of the motor would be more noticeable and every pedal to metal beat would be audible. But keep do experiments and let know the results😊

Driving like an empty 🎉
I always see this in Thailand 💀
Did it cause knocking, my i3 knocking regularly from front left. !
Yes, it can be… beter to change on both sides. They are cheap, around 15 EUR/ pc.
With which torque did you tighten the big screw? And do you have to support the engine in 2 places?
With E20 socket. Support for motor only in 1 place gently rised.
Thank you for this! Very helpful. Fyi for anyone else here, those pipes on the 2021 model have different bends to keep them well spaced apart, so that may have been one of the design changes in the LCI update (facelift) for 2018-2019.
Thank you, good Review ! :) If I extend the stop on the saw, will the saw be able to cut a height of 60 mm?
