    I think one has to take this book with a grain of salt, in that this is an existentialist, atheist philosopher and many of her opinions drawn from areas outside her areas of expertise (the extent to which sexual dimorphism affects outcomes on the population level, the evidence for early matriarchal societies, religious beliefs about women, etc) are controversial, to put it mildly.

    This is a liberal that is on board with many positions of the left. He is talking about the evangelical church getting influenced by basically maga politics. Odd so a left leaning author feels the need to talk about how bad the conservative Christians are doing in their faith while the left absolutely and blatantly hates the church and anything related to Biblical truths. Sad that so many liberals with TDS see this as a legit book when they can't even apply this same critique to the democrat party. Discernment people!!!! The democrats you know the party that stands for abortion, for ABC marriage, for affirming young children's decision to take drugs to affect their natural growth. The party of the KKK, the party of pandering to black people saying they ain't black if they don't vote for Biden. Yes that party should have been focused on in a book. This isn't about the Church this is about a liberal that can't judge his own party with the same scrutiny as he does people that support Trump. Stop watching mainstream media that brainwashes you into thinking Trump is the worst of the worst. He ain't perfect but the smear campaign has formed soft minded fools opinions which will cause them to fall for stupid nonsense like this. And good luck finding much balanced reviews of this in search engines. Had to use bing to even find a neutral review on the book. Amazon has some discerning reviews in the 1 and 2 star areas. Lots of unsaved people yes, lots that put Trump up on too high of a pedestal the same thing happens on the left with the likes of Obama. There are crazies on both sides that focus on human leaders and not Christ. Trump however is not nearly as bad as the left wing claims he is and did FAR better for the country from economy to foreign relations. Weak beta men leaders on the left invite actual strong leaders around the world to act up.

      It’s wonderful to hear that “Games People Play” by Eric Berne had such a positive impact on you. The book, which delves into the psychology of human relationships through Transactional Analysis, has indeed been influential in helping readers understand the dynamics of social interactions and personal growth. Berne’s work encourages us to view our interactions as ‘games’ with rules and strategies, which can be navigated and mastered. Your experience of visualizing situations as challenges to overcome aligns with the empowering message of the book, suggesting that we can all learn to engage more effectively with the world around us.

    The sad reality is that the real estate crash will impact the world economy. AI can aid high unemployment levels but China will lose $41 trillion, USA $25 trillion, and Eurozone $10 trillion for a total of $76 Trillion. The new book, The Bubble That Broke The Bank, predicts AI will create new AI jobs in 10 years from 2025.

    • @BooksinBlinks
      @BooksinBlinks 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The potential economic impact of a real estate crash is indeed a serious concern, as it can have ripple effects across the global economy. The figures mentioned-$41 trillion for China, $25 trillion for the USA, and $10 trillion for the Eurozone-highlight the scale of potential losses. However, these numbers are speculative and should be viewed within the context of economic forecasts and trends. AI’s role in addressing unemployment is multifaceted. While AI can lead to job displacement, it also has the potential to create new job categories and industries. The transition may be challenging, but with proper planning and investment in education and training, the workforce can adapt to the evolving job landscape. The book “The Bubble That Broke The Bank” seems to offer a perspective on navigating economic downturns, though its predictions on AI’s role in job creation are not clear from the comment. It’s important to note that such predictions are often based on current trends and may not account for unforeseen technological advancements or policy changes. Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, AI is expected to generate new roles, particularly in AI development, data analysis, and technology maintenance. The creation of AI-related jobs could help mitigate some of the employment challenges posed by automation. In conclusion, while AI presents challenges, it also offers opportunities for economic growth and job creation. The key is to approach the transition with strategic foresight, ensuring that the benefits of AI are maximized while minimizing its potential drawbacks.

    FAR TOO MANY ADS. This sucks! It is clear that you do not follow 'the way'. Confucius made a statement and stopped. He didn't say "And now an AD to make me money." Your "Free Summary" should instead read "So many irritating ads that this video is unlistenable." Just go out and punch someone in the face and take their wallet. That is more honest. That is MUCH more direct and takes less time... which is more valuable than money. Confucius HATES you.
