Creativity in a Snap, Episode 4
Today, I am featuring the Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp and Punch, along with the gorgeous paper from the Full of Life 6" x 6" DSP pack. Any set with small stamps would work great with this technique - I used the heart to demonstrate, but also show the flower on another card. I'd like to give a shout out to Laura, a demonstrator from Australia, for the inspiration behind this card.

Did you know that you can get multiple tones, or shades, from one ink pad? Ink up your stamp image and stamp it on your paper. What a great idea. I have used the tape over cardstock to die cut detailed images. I haven’t taken this step to apply it after stamping! Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Dotty! Fussy cutting isn’t so hard - just keep the scissors relatively stationary and move the paper into the blades. Like anything, it gets easier with practice!

How did I not know this sooner? I am just ordering another one so I have two converted stamp pads.
Wonderful technique, I think I had made one in the past and just glued the narrow strips of paper, but had to carefully think of where it joined; so welcome the way you did it, love all the extra samples too!

I LOVE these cards ❤. As far as naming the series, is your intention to use die cuts each time? If so, my first thoughts were "Dazzle with Die Cuts", "Designs with Die Cuts" or something of that nature. I'll keep thinking and send some other ideas 😊. Just love what you create. Thank you Dotty! My intention is just to share card ideas without all the production of my every other week videos. I can get more inspiration out to my subscribers this way! I like being creative and this way, I can show more than just a photo. To answer your question, not always dies - I will be doing whatever inspires me. I’ve had some good suggestions so far and I think I’m leaning toward Creativity in a Snap, but the more ideas the better!
