This video sums up my 2021. I want to thank all my viewers for watching my videos and sticking around for more good content. I am going to buy a new RC car is here so let me know what you guys want me to get snacks next
You’re crazy
Watching this proves you don’t know much about suspension geometry or handling.
I found the key to these, I have two and was not impressed at first. You need 3 minor things (leave everything else stock). Heavier shock oil, bump stops (orange Losi ones, one per coilover in front, 1.5 per rear coilovers only). And stiffer sway bars. Totally different truck, no more rolling, no more bottoming out. Depending on the environment, also ditch one of the spare tires & get a single mount (on ebay) mounts a single tire in the rear.
Doesn't help that rear shock is bent.
What did you use to dye the plastics
Watch some Baja 1000 footage. The trophy truck compilations. This is the best desert truck, What a masterpiece. I have a blast with it over simple jumps and obstacles that are in the same scale as the vehicle. I never understood why people take their cars off jumps that launch them thirty feet or more in the air then get confused when it breaks.
Great vid. #udr for the. wi n🎉
Clearly this person didn’t know what he was buying or did he do do homework. First this truck is not a basher as clearly stated on the box and second the bigger the truck the more expensive the parts are gonna be that’s just common sense
My first rc truck and I love it. You are absolutely right, it is not a basher, although it can do more than just scale driving. If you like working on a truck for hours with your favorite playlist, if you like scale driving and watching some suspension asmr and if you like drifting around and take some minor jumps. This truck is right for you and this is what I wanted to start with. Every time we go out, the truck makes me want to smoke a cigarette afterwards 😂
How wide are the spacers your running. I’m thinking about running 12 mm hex 2.2 rock crawler tires to make a rock bouncer
I love mine. There’s something enjoyable about scale performance. The way it’s modeled after realistic vehicle and floats over the terrain, is fun. I have RC’s for bashing. I have RC’s for rock crawling and some that fly and others that hover. It’s a hobby that serves many preferences.
sick trucks man, love my udr and i love cleaning my rcs, they feel new again after you clean them i swear. especially if you throw a new body on after the big strip down
Most people know what they’re buying when paying $800 for something. IMO it drives great. It’s not a basher I I’m sure your were told that and researched before you bought it…. This is my favorite of all my rc’s. Put a vitavon rear sway bar on it and it night and day. Also don’t let off when steering. When it starts to roll, pin it!
What did you use for your wheel spacers
What did you use for your wheel spacers?
What did you use for your wheel spacers? Do you have a link?
I tried to get into the group and I still haven't been accepted yet

Do you have a link for your wheel hub extensions?
*buyers truck that's says "not a basher" then procedes to complain about it not performing like a basher
Hey where did you get the shock covers and limiter straps? Love the build.
@@Campnowhere amain
I like the red one you just got another sub
What shell body is that?
Great job on your build, looks great.
I see no sway bars, cant do turns without them, and you need thicker ones to turn without flipping. I bought vitavon aluminum rims, expensive yes, but they add weight low to the truck which makes it more stable at turns and bumps.
Hey what hexes do u use with those aluminum wheels? How are they holding up a couple years later bro? I've only ever done a few minor things to my udr over the years beacuse j usually just replace lil stuff but I'm sick and tired of my hexes stripping my wheels and I want good quality hexes and wheels ofc
yea not a basher exactly why i like the look of it i see no need to jump any thing cray high
The battery in 6s normally how long does it last?
How do you keep the shock diaphragms from popping out? One of my rear shocks failed pretty much immediately after pulling the truck out of the box. Ive tried 5 times to secure it, it just keeps popping out and getting sucked into the shock body, causing it to leak everywhere.
That's a known issue with the stock udr shocks, I had it too and I put the anti leak kit from Traxxas on but it still leaked everywhere. I just recommend getting aftermarket shocks but if you don't mind the leaking then u could just leave it and replace the oil every now and then!
@xgamesyt3987 i installed the traxxas fox shock caps. Stopped the diaphragm issue. The lower shock seals at the piston leak very slowly. I'm fine with the slow leak. The cpa leak issue made it so the shock would lose all of its oil within a minute of driving. I changed shock oil weight and adjusted springs. It handles way better now than it did out of the box.
So how is this RZR it looks insane and soooo fun to drive
Love the scale realism.
Clean video bro. Keep it up.
Really
Yo, what tires are those on the rey? I cant find em. *Edit Found em. Losi Alpines.
Nice video
Nice edit bro!
Where the whips from ?
Wtf any body who buy a rc knows rc scale iw not a basher wtf there is no other rc truck better than this one u need basher rc but a basher rc not scale rc
Good Car, Good Music !, Eminem/Dido....Best Greats from Austria/Falco !
No scratches on the body? You don't have fun with it .
How much Cst?
I’m running the oem coils with the proline tender springs on my BR2.0. Feel pretty good. Suspension cycles really smooth and the dampening feels right. Might run the firmer tender spring which is still softer than the main coil to still get the dual rate coil setup. Need to do some runs to see if tuning is dialed.
Yess
Seems to me, you bought a bunch of useless upgrades. Honestly you tried making it a basher. When you should just enjoy the point of the truck.
Bro where is the aluminum A Arms and trailing A arms? I’m about to drop 200$ just on suspension from Vivaton alone. Can you drop some more links for accessories
Hell yeah. I just got one. I’m about to build it just like my real Pro R!
Looks sickk!
Nice slow motion cinematic style video! I love making videos like this. can't wait to see one of the new Yeti! you got a new sub from me!
I sold it 😢
@@ericcontreras4030 that is sad. I'm really into the trophy truck scene but i only got into RC 3 years ago and some of those trucks like the yeti were long gone from the market. Losi is really stepping up their game tho.
Nice video man
Wow
The UDR is a desert truck not a stadium truck. It’s also not a basher in any way shape or form. It is narrowly. It’s a lot of money to spend on something like that. When I use mine I keep it in an environment for which it was intended and I’m totally satisfied with it. There are far to many options if you’re looking for a basher/flyer but none of those are capable of creating the realism some hobbyists are looking for like the UDR.
