This is Dan, I have personally carried a Macro module for several years now, as well as competed (from concealment) with Evos and Macros with the curved beavertail. I have yet to have any issue with the curved beavertail. However, our Hybrid and Elite Series, as well as our AIR Polymer modules have straight beavertails. Hope that helps!

This has been a consideration, but at the present time, machining the steel is a lot more time and tool intensive. I won't say it will never happen, but experimentation with Steel has been placed on a hold as we develop new products and collaborations.

Everyone has their personal preferences. We personally find the curved beavertail to be quite comfortable, helps in acquiring a grip, and doesn't get "hooked" on anything because there are no closed curves that could catch anything. We do have straight tail versions on our Hybrid and Elite Series as well as the polymer version as you noted.

Holster compatibility is always a difficult issue to address as every company is a bit difference. The easiest way to better guarantee a chance of fitment is to run a weapon light. However, the AIR polymer modules are specifically Right or Left handed, so it does have a slightly thinner profile than the aluminum ACE modules which are ambidextrous. It is important to note that there is still a thumb rest extrusion. The best solution would be to contact the manufacturer of your holster and see if the Polymer module will fit.

I think it could be argued that there are always compromises made when it comes to concealed carry. I personally have not had an issue with concealing a macro, but what works for me may not work for someone else. If concealability in the grip area is a concern, perhaps a Hybrid, Elite, or Evo series would be more fitting? I can say that the integrated magwell is almost the exact size of the magwell area of a stock Glock 19 which is one of the most prolific concealed carry guns.- Dan

Yes. Technically any slide will fit on any grip module with the Sig P365 platform, it's just a matter of if you want the dust cover to be shorter than the slide, equal with the slide, or longer than the slide (if you're adding a compensator). But the X Evo would sit flush with an X slide. An XL or Macro Slide will sit Flush with an XL Evo, and the new FUSE or XL plus a PMM compensator will sit flush with the XL+ now named FUSE.

Can’t wait till the compact is available again. Looks like there was a little bit of blow through on the green X at the upper part of the back-strap.

To clarify, the team sent me a blemished model to do the video so that we didn't take away from a customers module.

Will have to take a look into it and bring it up to the manufacturing team. Not sure what the machining considerations are compared to Aluminum. But you never know, maybe it will eventually take off.

This should fit the Specter comp with no problem. It has the same footprint as the 507k and Romeo Zero series.

It is definitely on our radar. The engineering and subsequent molds, etc. are quite expensive and time consuming to develop and setup for production, but it's most certainly something we're working towards.

Yes, the Pink grip (Pink Champagne) was a custom cerakote job.

Sorry you had this experience. When you say align your sights, do you mean zero the optic? We've been fortunate with ours that we have not had this issue. I would recommend reaching out to Sig Sauer customer support for help.

As of now, this is not possible due to the cooling properties of the polymer. It is definitely something we wanted, but the manufacturing process is not feasible at this time. If this changes, there's a good chance we will revisit the design

We've found that a lot of people don't prefer the ambidextrous thumb ledges, so this is the first module we're going to be offering left hand specific as opposed to right handed and ambi.

It IS compatible, but will stick out slightly from the bottom of the magwell. The Evo series are all based upon the XL grip length, the variations are in the dust cover length which get progressively longer from X, XL and XL+

Our machines are running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with the exception of maintenance. We've relocated and opened a second location with more machines purchased, and we've released a polymer module to be able to provide a grip module at a faster and more cost effective rate. Yet we still have trouble keeping up with demand. Have you registered for notifications on our site to be notified of product availability?

I'm sorry that you're having trouble getting access to our products. I believe I responded to another comment of yours, but to reiterate, we are producing modules 365 days a year.... also, the channel is not monetized and gun channels receive very little revenue.

At this time, we do not make one that sits flush with an X macro slide and the shortest grip length. The slide will still fit and function on the Hybrid, but it will overhang.

That is a difficult question to answer as each holster manufacturer is different. The best thing to do is check with you holster manufacturer and ask about fitment. The easiest thing to do would be to purchase a holster that is guaranteed to fit.

Do you mean between the polymer and aluminum modules? This is Dan, and I'm still very partial to the Evo module, and use an Evo XL as my EDC.

I got interested in their product line over a year ago (March 2023) - they have not had ANY models in stock the whole time. I don’t know what their business model is…unless their TH-cam videos are monetized; because it clearly isn’t selling Sig grip modules.
