This game is proof that just because the name on the box says "Bioware" doesn't mean it's made by the same people who made the games we know and love. Bioware is dead. This is an entirely different team using the same name. All the people responsible for our beloved classics aren't there anymore.

That's why you don't cut stuff out of context. The context: Harding is experiencing dreams for the first time in her life, that's why her dialogue sounds disorientated and weird, as it should be, because she is in shock. I don't know what you expected, it might not be 10/10 dialogue, but you saying it's bad dialogue is pointless without giving the context. Please go on anesthesia to hospital, ask someone to record what you you will say after waking up. We will see if it will be quality dialogue u absolute chimpanzee.

So in every voice-recording booth, there's supposed to be a guy who's entire job is to decide if the line was good enough. The quality of a game can heavily depend on how much this guy cares about what he's working on. Baldur's Gate 3 clearly had a passionate guy in that role, you can tell every line was re-done until perfectly fitting into the game. Veilguard? You can tell the guy did not really care. "Ah- that's Rook's walk" is a great example. So inhuman... who would sound the way he does when showing off that they can tell people by their walks?
