Is there anyone on the planet who didn't recognize that the routine was going to be Bolero simply from their positions on the ice at the start? Even that was iconic.

I don't think we have a show like this in the U.S. This has got to be so much more difficult than Dancing with the Stars (which we copied from Strictly Come Dancing). This season for the first time ever DWTS has a male Olympic gymnast as a comtestant (the Pommel Horse Guy (you know who I mean?); and even though he's a specialist with only one apparatus, it's clear that dancing takes less time to master for a gymnast than skating does. Niles did so well, and I'm having fun watching his journey on this show.

Amazing !! Such grace and strength from both of them. There is a sensuousness to their precision that few other ice dancers have. It's that "extra" dimension that most others lack - that complete sympatico that sets them apart from everyone else - even in their 60s. Chris is still devastatingly handsome and so damned strong - and Jayne is still so beautiful and lithe. I find myself actually holding my breath when I'm watching them. How wonderful it must be to be able to skate - to MOVE - like that !! I've been in a wheelchair for the past two years - so it's a real pleasure to watch them. They make me feel like I'M flying !!
