I have two Kupas. One back up in case the first one fails. I’m not a pro but a nail enthusiast. Mostly do my nails. Occasionally some other girls. But I’ve been doing my nails for a few years and have had the KUPA for like 3 years now. I first had 2 Amazon efiles. One from Makartt. Died in like 6 months. Had an enail couture efile. Nothing wrong with it but I decided to move to a kupa anyways. Love it and it hasn’t failed me. I just don’t like that it has no screen for the battery. It’s how I am. Forgetful so the efile sometimes dies on my. Like right now. It’s losing torque 😅 so it’s dying but the efile has never died on me And I mean like completely won’t charge anymore like the Amazon ones. The kupa is so strong!!! Works so good but it needs a screen. Idk why they haven’t made a model like that yet. I’ve known about that brand for over 5 years and still no model with a screen. Such a bummer but it’s so good. I’ve seen Sarah Nail Secret using the SAME kupa efile for years and I figured I could invest in that. So many girls are hyped with the kiara sky efiles. They’re so cute!!😭I do have the purple efile and so badly want to get the purple matching efile lol but I’ve seen bad reviews on insta sometimes. Few but not common, comments saying the hand piece stopped working or the file not turning on anymore from KS and that kiara sky wouldn’t reply to them and address the problem. And I remember one saying her replacement still malfunctioned. That was 2 years ago. Idk if their customer service has improved BUT Kupa is a nail efile company foremost !!! They specialize in repairing their stuff and I trust their equipment to be less faulty. I wish your video would have way more views. More girls need to see your video to know more about kupa. It’s so underrated but I know lots of pro techs that aren’t DIYers like me or don’t play around and need something serious, they go for Kupa.

Glad I saw this because I was going to buy the YN efile on sale today. I have the Manipro passport which I love except the cord is annoying sometimes and the paint on the hand piece is all chipped up easily even when I barely use it. :( as expensive as it was, this shouldn’t happen. I could literally take my fingernail and peel the black paint off the hand piece easily.

Yes girl!! So my first real nail efile (not from Amazon lol) was the kupa mani pro passport! But with the older hand piece! And honestly I’ve had it for about 6 years and I’ve never had an issue with it!! It’s still my favorite and I want to try the newer hand piece! But I actually bought a medicool efile the cordless one that’s comparable to the kupa and I still feel like the kupa one is better! I enjoy my Medicool one, it works great but some bits make it vibrate and I NEVER had that issue with the kupa! Never! So now I have two efiles. I use my kupa one for pedicures and the medicool for my manis. The hand piece to the medicool is just as small as the original k-55 but I kinda like it better for size but like I said, some bits make it vibrate…ugh!! I’m a kupa girl too! And if they ever come out with something a little more updated, as to the battery pack, then I would jump on it! Tfs!

Why you refuse to get Kiara Sky efile

I thought it was best to learn how to fix my own machine inCase of any issues and most of the problems are with the hand piece. I watched some good videos on TH-cam that show you the names of the parts inside and how to check them and clean them:) even the $60 melodysusie is fine as long as you know how to open it snd clean it if you have issues or if the device won’t turn on… that’s usually a problem with the wire than connects to the hand piece:)

Have you tried the Kiara Sky drill? Is the Kupa better than the KS if you’ve tried both? Thank you in advance!

Definitely best handheld efile imo and i've had over 8, the torque is good which alot of other handheld efiles lack.

The problem with Kupa Manipro Password is we have to guess the rpm speed and there is no video about showing it like 5000 rpm 15 or 20.000 why you guys just don’t talk about it?? Can you tell me how to be on 15.000 rpm? I guess no!!!!!

Like, I've been thinking about purchasing the young nails e-file, and you had some outstanding issues with it. I'm glad to get a product user's perspective, which by the way, thank you for your indirect review. Their drills (and products in general) are ridiculously expensive, so I appreciate your insight! Your video is certainly helpful, again, many thanks for your shared experience regarding these very necessary tools of the trade!

I don’t think you’re supposed to switch it from forward to reverse while the e-file is running. I was always told that was a big no-no and it will break your e-file over time.

What kind of paint is that ?

Lmao it’s always my pointer finger too. I forget which. Left or my right hand. Actually I have not been having the same issue as before. Nails last way longer when I do them on others. I’ve tried different primers and dehydrators but nails don’t last long on ME lol. I tried the young nails protein bond after seeing lots of people swearing by it unlike any other primer out there. I tried it and it works amazing for me and am not having issues on my pointer finger lifting. I think my mail beds are oilier than most. I feel like lately this efile has been underrated. Especially overshadowed by the one sold from Kiara sky which I admit I want to get LOL. I have the phantom kupa efile 😍 matches my rechargeable lamp too. This is also how I am with hobbies. Get addicted to collecting stuff lol efiles too but I don’t have the Kiara sky one. I don’t think I’ll get the new kupa efile I saw on their site before. I chose the manipro. What kind of repairs did you have to send your hand piece in for?

This is actually their second efile! Thanks so much for your honest review! I currently have the kupa passport and I’ve been very happy for 3 years! Tbh I’m scared to send in my kupa for services since they don’t have great reviews for that!

If your rats do not chew on the toys try putting a thin layer of peanut butter them and wipe it off it makes the toys smell like peanut butter and my rats love it.
