    OK a couple of warnings. The bottom mounting hole is not correct, you will need to drill a new one. The short piece of bowden tube will vary in length, I used approx 70mm not 65mm. You will need to purchase another stepper motor cable as the original is only 90mm in length and will not reach.

    Better to change the stepper motor for a pancake one so it's lighter.

    did this stop the clogging issues? i cannot get some of my et4's to not clog and it is the most annoying thing ever. i tried using the one fix with the washer and the separate tube in the hotend to get maximum pressure between the nozzle and the tube and it just jams inside the pfte tube now.

    • @leonard4053
      @leonard4053 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi friends, for clogging problems, pay attention to the temperature at the nozzle and the printer speed. Each type of filament has a different temperature. if a blockage occurs, it is not hot enough or the speed is too fast. Direct extruder, gives good print results. especially when we use TPU / elastic filament. Check again my print settings, at Thingiverse account. Good luck

    • @swedtypez6309
      @swedtypez6309 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I had the same issue with clogging hotends and could not for the life of me fix the problem. So I ended up sending my unit back to the store I bought it from to have them check for problems and apperently there was a manufacturing problem between the nozzle and the tube. They replaced the hotend with a spare. Haven't had a problem since.
