Thanks Stephen M3SNV 👍🏻 I’ve been very impressed with the antenna. I’ve been using it with the Thunderpole TX and CB-27 Pro. Easy to set and move around. I have a linear Amp too. Nice to see CB is still active on local channels. I’m actually putting up a Silver Rod today so the Boomerang is coming down for now but will probably end up at my Dads so he can use it as well on his new setup. I’ll put a video of new antenna maybe this weekend. Best 73’s mate. (CB27)👍🏻

Thank you, it still is a great looking lake 20 years later. I had a good first session over there with Rudd, roach and small bream on the float. Carp were also jumping up out of the water. I’m looking forward to going back and hitting the Rudd, roach again with maggot feeder next time 👍🏻

Not personally. It’s pleasure fishing. The lake I fish on is a Carp lake, that also has Perch, Bream, Barbell etc. I’d love to go for other species as well. It all depends on travel and time for me. So bored, not really. Fake fishing, no. fishing is fishing and hoping. 👍🏻

Maggot box fine. Yes, the lids on the bait tubs are loose but nothing a good ole elastic band or two won’t sort out. I’d only use them for carrying worms in really and to keep in my bait fridge. 👍🏻

Hi @Dragnplay09. I believe CP at Elveden are correct. From what I discovered, the only place you can officially fish from now is from the 4-5 swims that are provided not far from the boathouse. Which is a shame because it’s a large lake with plenty of large Carp in. There’s a few water spots around CP Eleveden that I’d like to give a go for Perch but obviously it’s not allowed. It’s worth taking a small kit and having a go from the swims thou as you can fire out across to the island. 👍🏻

@@cast.playandaway Thanks so much for your reply. Yes that is a shame, as it was great to fish just at the bottom of the lodge. We haven't been since around 2016 so it must have changed since then. Caught some lovely fish there too.

Hi. I’m 5ft’11. The bed chair is definitely long enough for me and wide enough. It also fits in my easy shelter plus perfectly. Sits off the ground just right leaving plenty of headroom in my shelter. Hope this helps you. 👍🏻

Really, I find it comfortable especially when feeder fishing. Pleased you found something else thou. Got to be comfortable when by the lake.

Hi. It’s the small Matrix support side tray. Measures 40cm by 40cm. It also fits in between the Matrix chair once folded making it easy to store. Tight lines 👍🏻

This session we had 6 rods out between three of us and we all blanked. We didn’t see one fish lol. We’ve been there twice now and blanked on both occasions. @@cast.playandaway lower is notoriously hard. Ive been probably 4 times last year and blanked every time too lol. Infact the whole Stow complex is pretty hard fishing but its a nice way to spend a day. Ive caught plenty of big bream on lake 2 but thats about it 😂

@@Tee-B Yep, your right. I think the reservoir’s will be hard work but def worth a go every so often. My local lakes are Tylers Common fishery in Upminster. Nice 4 lakes, mainly Carp but also Bream, Silvers, Perch and also Barbel. I like to get over there 1 or twice a month. 👍🏻

Hi. Thanks for commenting. It does appear to be a very well made pod for a decent price. Looking at it I have total confidence it will do what it’s made for. I’ll be using it this Sunday over the Reservoir’s with a couple of carp rods so I’ll post a update next week. 🐟👍🏻

Have had one of these pods for about 2 seasons now very sturdy and does what a pod is meant to do 👍👍👍👍
