Yay! I was waiting for your reaction! First things first.. I love that you said mucin and not slime or goo 😆 Everyone has already mentioned the metaphor of the snail, slow moving towards it's goal and patient, starting in the harsh dessert and ending in a lush damp forest. But I also had my own interpretation for the mucin trail. To me the trail represents her past, everywhere she has been before, her trail which is now behind her. At one point we see flowers sprouting from the trail, and I see that to symbolise the beautiful things she has been able to create in her past along the way and leave behind. Also when she is faced with an obstacle in her way (the river) she is now able to find a way through it to the other side (the bridge) which maybe is something she couldn't do before, but she's showing that now when faced with a challenge in life she is confident in finding a way through. And the last scene of her breaking out of her shell and rising up is self-explanatory... but I just want to comment on how beauuuutiful it looked 😚 there are always layers to Melanie's videos and you really just never know what to expect!

This music video, she is a snail because it represents that you need to have patience to truly find someone who will love you for forever and truly love you, she followed the light slowly because its what it means that be patient so you can find love. She’s also in a desert because desert is a bad place for snails so the light guided her to a rainforest so the snail can thrive on it for moisture and water. This is a really great interpretation that melanie did for us!

This MV makes me think about Pluto. In that song, the protagonist asks for a transformation to flee from their suffering. It’s like Pluto sent her that light, that’s why at the end, when she has contact with the light, her body is destroyed and she transformed!

She’s chose to be a snail because snails symbolize patient. She was following the light which is her “love” patiently going from the desert to the forest when she finally catches the light and eats it she transformed to her true self. That’s really genius 💜

She does sing from the point of view of her song, she is the song. You see it as the song ends and she comes back to our world. More recently she can often sing emotionally in her audience, it's wonderful to experience. Her concert at the Nidarosdomen is a masterpiece!

One of my favorite things about Aurora is that she prefers playing smaller venues. She's not an arena artist. In fact, this was the first time she had performed for a crowd so large, and she was terrified. Now she owns the stage, and she's so comfortable, witty, and charming. She likes smaller venues because she wants everyone to feel seen. She wants to feel like she can connect with everyone, see their faces, and hear their voices. She knows how to connect with her audience in a way I've never seen in another artist. Whether it's live or through a screen, she commands attention, and makes you feel her sincerity. It makes what she does so much more impactful.
