that's the main issue with this pedal there no start and stop for each track the way ed uses it we makes one beat loops so that it doesn't matter if he has stops because when he pauses the track and then resets the the song all the loops a one bar loops so it make it reset easy!!! but if the loop is longer and you can't stop individual tracks that's a problem that boss has the answer to with individual stop on each track!!!

the price is insane to i hope they don't forget about there flag ship looper and add auto record to that to ahah but the price and EDS got a funky way he likes to do things coz he's had to coz there was no other loopers out there doing this all tracks have and output thing 10 years ago so now he developed a funky tap dance style that works for him but seem a little crazy im pretty sure the Chewy has more of a boss feel like a bunch joined together when the first one i used to look at it a lot the chew 1 looked like 4 rc 30 put together!!!! with stops and start for each track!!!! one thing i did notice was that he did ask the guy from headrush if they were happy with it because it defiantly not the same size as the chewy monster!!!!!

auto record!!!!!!!!! its the one thins boss rc has over all loopers if there no signal no record but track is armed ready to go then when signal comes in recording starts!!!!! that's what's missing here!!!!!

It's nice to see a white guy with some sense of rhythm and skill using a looper. So many think that just because Ed loops , they can, often with little talent. Props anyway i can see youre a decent musician

I was using Headrush Looperboard on my gigs for some 2 years but it broke down completely. Switches were glitchy from the very start btw. Thanks to your review I know that this new-ish Headrush product won’t work for what I do. Weight of it is also a killer if you also use single pedals and many instruments on the stage. Thanks

Quite agree on these issues you have highlighted here...great points that id prefer personally also, ill wait till they update this fab machine..before I make purchase

As is at this point in time its not even better than its predecessor the Headrush Looperboard.

Chris, have you tried Singular sound Aeros gold looper and Beat Buddy with MIDI Maestro?

Really excellent, honest review and demo. I've had the looper for just one day, and I marvel at the technology that went into this. I think that just spending more time with the Looper X will unleash some very cool features. For the price, I'm a bit annoyed that they did not include a travel case.

Glad I went with the RC 600. This looks way better for playing live, less clutter but to be honest I'd be scared to use either one on a stage.

Hey man...great video. Very complete...thanks for putting it together. I've been pretty back and forth with my Looper X since delivery. But i did want to point out something i found. If you go into audio routing/track, you can change the "Live" option from Auto to On for each track. Doing so applies that track's effects to the input regardless of track selection. Perfect for consistent live effects based on input. Hope that helps, and thanks again for the content!!!

I own several guitars high end Yamahas and Martin with Lr baggs anthem pickups but I m not quite satisfied with them for live playing... Stand alone in room they sound awesome but live is another story. I wish to buy an Angel 2 BLBL. How would you describe it. Thanks, continue your great work and and Best Regards

As far as you wanting certain effects on assigned inputs…. What if you are just playing one guitar with one pickup, and on one song, you want the octave/bass effect, but then you want to add some delay and reverb for another section of that song…. Would you need to unplug the guitar and move it to the input that has that effect assigned to it?

For me , i prefer the Boomerang III and the Sidecar. As a solo guitarist, i dont care about any band modes or any of that... i ALWAYS create live and on the spot amd never want or use any pre recorded loops. Im also not trying to use this and then do individual track post editing.... I just think it got WAYYYYY too many features that alot of people wont use.. live loopers.. nah. I have 4 tracks and all the fade, stop all.. start one.. different workflow modes.. etc.. for about $600.

OK well having on this now for just a little while maybe a matter of weeks I could say that this video is completely out the window you have no idea what you’re doing you have no idea what you’re talking about you have no idea how to use this thing and you’re saying that it’s lacking in some areas I would say that you need to do your homework become a guy who reads the manual listen to others watch other videos like you want us to do with you and figure out how to do it but you put up a BS video pal….

Great info - why not use a software setup? I ask because you clearly have looked into the depths of these pedals. I've felt software is the obvious solution. I'm on a learning curve w DAWs and so thats why i dont have person experience to share... And maybe thats why others avoid software as well? Too much learning and moving pieces? But seems it should be worth it so that you can fully customize workflows and have nearly unlimited custom effects etc. I'd really apreciate your or others thoughts on this. Thanks again for the tutorial here.

What do you think about rc 600. I am confused about which one should I buy - looper x or rc 600? Is sheeran looper x better than rc 600?

The best looper is loopy pro. It runs on an iPhone. Control it with a midi pedal.

Main issue that no one is talking about. 100% sucks your guitar tone if playing electric guitar. Built and designed for acoustic guitar. Really bummed. I just release a quick initial video showing the sound quality issue.
