What’s that overhead combo your using? Looks good
It’s a pe5 shimano grappler and a maxel reel to match. It is an awesome combo
awesome work on the cod guys but the one thing I have to suggest is a better system for handling fish, may i suggest a good quality set of lip grips to grip the bottom jaw to assist in fish control and better quicker hook/s removal while the fish is in the net preferably in the water still but if need be in/on deck kayak and always keep it wet for the fish. then back into the water asap and do a quick check on the fish for signs of keenness to get back home, biting down and fatigue damage or something not usually in the behaviour of cod. please assess and if able get a quick picture using the baby cradle support lift also get a assist with bigger fish and release it with all attention now on it's release health and swimming behaviour as it swims away incase of the extreme rare case of a swimming fish belly uping trying to get deep which may involve a swim in after it and that sucks in deep winter before sunlight lol. i honestly hope that doesn't come across with a you did completely wrong way as we all love these fish and as a collective effort better handling techniques can only improve if we all add positive and stop the you did wrong and assist others in the better ways/ideas to help preserve this fish for whoever wants to try for the illusive 130+cm old girls. best of luck with your fishing whoever reads and hopefully take something new from this advice.
Thanks for your time in writing your comment mate. Great insight. And hopefully others learn from it also. You’re 100% correct we always have room for improvement. And as the population grows we want to be better so our kids kids get to see these fish also. 👍🏽
I had a 2050 frontier, would have to be the wettest boat i have ever been in.
Di tarik ikan besar sangat menyenangkan sekali👍
Cool country bro love it up there 🔥 odd question, what size prop your running in your 175?
Let me have a look for you mate
14 1/4X17P if that makes sense to you mate 👍🏽
How bloody good was that! Dreamy conditions, swags on the Beach and any number of species! Easy to see why you’re missing it! Hangin to get up there and throw some lively Lures around! Top stuff mate, got this ol fella froffin! 🔥🙌🏽
Haha cheers mate. Yes it’s a special part of the world that’s for sure. We will be back one day
Nice one man ,how's the size of that MSP😮
He was a beauty mate hey. Definitely nice one to see
You need a bigger ruler mate. Looks like a great trip.
What an epic trip this one
The video is great I like it very nice
Thank you mate, cheers for the support
Where did you get your black Gimble belt from pls
I think it might have been from fish head or something like that mate. It’s an MC Works belt
Hi mate Can you sent me where you got black gimbal belt from pls ❤
Yep, it’s an experience that’s for sure! Little Miss’ sock gloves are the best! Awesome Country! 👌
Beautiful country up there mate hey. We loved it.
Epic memories made! Yep, Thredbo is expensive as all get out! Way cheaper to Japan or NZ!
Japan is up there with one of our favourite places for sure to see the snow. Super cheap flights there at the moment too
Good to see you have the safety cap back on after your toupee almost blew off last video
😂😂 I’m missing there hair now. Thinking I’m going to need hair implants soon. It’s all falling out
Great video. I see that you do have doble transduce.. I see that you have a 1 kilowatt transducer for deep water and another for side vieuw down scan image. What model of lowrance FF do you have ?
I answered this question on your other comment mate hope that helps
What is the model of lowrance that you have and how many watt is that transducer. How so good is the image of it in 200 meter deep water ?
Hi mate, I have the hds live 16”. I have the 3in1 transducer and the tm275L/HW which is a dual channel 1kw transducer. This is the one I would use in 200m of water on the L channel. This would read perfectly in 200m of water.
Bloody awesome video mate. Just honest fishing and pure adventure🤙🤙
Thank you mate really appreciate the support! So much fun this trip.
great video mate , there is so much work into that , thanks for taking the time to make it for us
Appreciate the comment and support mate yes you sure do spend a lot of time staring into the screen that is for sure
Yessssss!
Cheers brother
Top shit again boys keep them coming the mad mullet 🐟🌴🐟😜
It definitely gods country up there🤘 Nice little session fella that’s for sure 🔥🍻🇦🇺
Such a cool spot all through that area hey mate. We loved it there can’t wait to get back.
Very tactical wearing that hat to stop that wig blowing away
Haha was a wild looking thing hey haha hope all is well
Ahh well
Hahaha she’s onto it hey
Yeah the girls👌
Fun little getaway hey. Good times 😁
Great Video, thank you very much. One small comment which applies to most Aussie anglers, there is a huge opportunity for improvement on how we handle trophy fish. It helps recording fish by weight & not length, so they are not thrashing around on the measuring table. I watched this Pommy video, really opened my eyes. Hopefully this doesnt come across as too critical, its not meant to be. th-cam.com/video/18cMSxpevew/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for your comment mark and also your concern for the fish. There needs to be more of it. We are all in a learning world and all advice is and should be welcome. Thanks for the link
Yes will agree with some of what you say . To keep them in the net until you measure, I think is best but measurements of Murray cod is about the most accurate . Because depending on where your fishing & food supply that can have more body mass than normal.
Thanks for another great show
Thanks for the support mate. Have a few more videos ready to post again shortly
what was the rod and reel?
The one I’m using mate the most was a daiwa steez A and a dobyns champion HP 744 with the full handle.
Brilliant combo for this stuff
Thats a pisser! 😂
Bit of fun mate hey hahaha
Mine was only reading around 6 knots, just reinstalled as per video so hopefully works 👌🚤
I'm gonna sub also first to like and comment is me I love fishing 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣💗💗💗💓💓💓💘💘💖💖💖💝💝💝💝🪱🐛🕷🦗✔️🌏🌏🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 🐠🐋🐟🐠🐋🐟
Hi. When using your TM275HLW, how do you accurately locate / determine the fish location on the sounder, given the wider W cone angle? Cameron
Hi mate, for the depth of fishing I am doing it doesn’t seem to be to much of a drama. Upto 80m. However you can kind of tell in the arches wether you are right over the fish or if there off to the side.
@@latitudesixteen6813many thanks for this response. A good point on arch visuals. Do think the 275 is still the best Ducer in your application, as opposed to say the 265LH or 185M? Also, what aspect of fish arch do you look for to establish if the fish is underneath the boat? Cameron
I think that the 265LH is definitely a good option and I would be keen to see what it is like. I just hate to think that when running I would possibly miss ground (new fishing spots) due to the narrower cone. A lot of my bottom fishing spots come from finding ground while travelling at speed.
@@latitudesixteen6813 yes thanks. Good point. When you see multiple fish arches with the 275, what aspects of the arches would indicate that it is close to or directly underneath the boat?
I have found if the fish are off to the sides the tend to have such a solid showing on the screen like they are a bit more pixelated. And the archers aren’t full more of a half arch if that makes sense? This is what I have found anyhow.
Love it guys !!
Cheers mate 👍🏽👌🏽 good times
Must have been a windy day for you to be wearing a baseball cap to stop your wig blowing off
I needed to wear it to keep it out my eyes ahaha
love murray cod good eating yumm
Yes I was pleasantly surprised as well. Beautiful white flesh! Would eat it again for sure.
Nice part of the World out Severn River way and all that Guy Fawkes NP and Track over to Grafton way with the Convict Tunnel and I think the oldest Timber Bridge still standing in NSW or Aus, one of the two hey. Very fortunate to have it as green as you did, I’m really surprised you didn’t see at least half dozen Red Belly Blacks, each time I’ve Bow Hunted out there, you’d near step on one at least twice a day, gave me the willies each n every time! 😂Was going through there on the Moto, nothing was flowing, grass was like dust and the wildlife was belly up, and the Fires were up Tenterfield way down through Guy Fawkes NP big Jet was bombing the red retardant on the fires. Chalk n Cheese to where you are now but!
Yea it was nice out there. I did see a few snakes. Nearly stood on one as well lol. Snakes are my favourite creatures that’s for sure lol
Tyson. Where are you & the family missing the vids mate. On the sunny coast not catching fish too cold full moon I don’t know miss the vids
Hahaha hey mate, sorry we have one ready to roll I’ll try get it uploading tonight. We are in western Oz and been in and out of service heaps of late. Cheers for the message haha it will be up soon! Plenty more coming as well!
Great Video. Thanks for sharing .
Thanks for your support mate. Appreciate it 👍🏽👍🏽
Hi Mate. Just wondering what you thought of the big rims and low diameter tyres. Did you think it was an ok combo? Or would you go for something different
Hi mate, we haven’t found the 18” wheels to be to much drama apart from finding tyres at times. In saying that the tyres we are running a pretty big. 305/65r18 in this video. We can’t go any smaller in rim size as it won’t fit over the brakes. I do think that more rubber adds for a smother ride and allows for a bigger footprint on the sand if letting tyres down. Hope this helps
Proper quality content guys epic.
Thank you mate, really appreciate it! Hopefully TH-cam starts to think so to soon so then it gets pushed out for more people to see. Videos don’t seem to get many views at the moment. But that’s ok. Glad you enjoy!!! Thanks again for the support 😊👍🏽
Is that your real hair or do you wear a wig ?
You got me mate! How good is it but haha even longer now. Nearly time to lop it all off
You got me mate! How good is it but haha even longer now. Nearly time to lop it all off

You got me mate lol. How good is it but haha. Just about time to lop it all off

Don't worry mate. My drone (same as the one they used for surveying on groote) met the bottom of Babinda boulders 😂. Crackin cod though.
Spewing mate! And no insurance on it then?
@latitudesixteen6813 nah just ran out had to re new it.
That’s no good man. What a pain!!!
Beautiful fish. That’s a nice cod mate. Massive floods went through next year.
Yea I remember the floods. Definitely did some damage that’s for sure!!
From Lilydale if you had driven another 45 mins to the Gorge. Best fishing. Best camping. Never mind
I think I seen the gorge as well we wanted to go there but it was rain so we decided to head west to try and escape that haha. We will definitely be keen to check it out next time tho! 👍🏽👍🏽
The best boat and trailer youv got❤❤❤😢
Thanks mate yes we love it
Hey Tyson, has the wagon been tuned.
It has mate yes
@@latitudesixteen6813 happy with it. Did you get the transmission done as well so it holds the converter locked longer.
No transmission tune. I often think about it but we have a lockup kit that has dual options. One above 80ks and one for when you are doing a lot of slow driving. I always just drive it in manual
Did Hannah leave a hand print on your head for having that as the intro bud? 😂😂😂
Hahahaha she wasn’t happy about it lol
@@latitudesixteen6813😂😂😂
Got to be in it to win it lol
You’ve more than likely way passed it by now but, ahh well. There’s a place called “The Gorge” between Kyogle and Grafton which is a farm on the Clarence river, bass fishing. Beautiful spot. Ahh well, never mind
I’m not sure mate but we might have stayed there. Or near there! I’ll have to back track and see where it is. We are definitely passed there now. We are in WA lol
Great vid. My goodness though, vehicles are getting bigger and heavier
Thanks 😊 yes definitely getting bigger. Not always better tho.
Lovely Ep guys and lovely area, We live at Cooroy so out around that area all the time,
Thanks mate, is a great spot. We loved it down that way!
What’s your weights bro? For boat and trailer alone?
Haven’t been over the bridge since new trailer but with old trailer we were just under 2t
@@latitudesixteen6813 so the boat weights 1500ish?
Yea mate would be close hey!!
