My only guess is if Better Fishing changed the name of the binding, you might be able to verify that on their addon page www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/better-fishing It doesn’t look like it’s changed but they do have some detailed instructions that might help, or you can ask for additional help from the mod author there

The standard one hasn’t moved, there’s a new one in the primalist future as well that sells a few new items.

I haven’t had much luck doing the event either.

Last week the boss would be tagged by alliance and horde was not able to get credit. This week you get credit for participating in any part of the storm.

Well the upgrades have different values, gloves are cheaper than cheat piece for example. You previously could get 9 sigils per week, but now you can farm them via chests you can buy in the storms fury event in the primalist tomorrow. I made a patch 10.0.5 video last week that explains that whole event.

Well you can convert one piece per week, per character, so if you have a character that already has a piece of their tier set then, yes, they can have their 2 piece bonus. When you complete the weekly quest EVERY character on your account gets ONE charge. It's not an item, it's like a currency so it can't be mailed between characters or anything like that, but each character can use it independently.

@Carlos Spicyweiner This is false. "You won’t have to worry about deciding which character to use your Catalyst Charge on because each character on your account gets one per week. So, if you have a small army of alts that all need to catch up on their tier-set progress, the Catalyst gives them the opportunity to complete their four-set." If you need further proof, I've done the quest twice and used 6 charges across my alts. You may be confused because the interface for the catalyst itself shows the amount of charges required for the upgrade, not the amount you actually have.
