Hahah, in my defense, I normally play on 32:9 - this means the quests are waaaaay the far right end of the screen where I don't really perceive them. So it's convenient to have them on, cause they don't bother me.

I-Frame is short for "invincibility frame". All characters in BDO can evade attacks (typically with Shift+A and Shift+D). During this evasive motion the characters get a certain amount of frames, during which they are completely immune to damage. Mind you - this only applies to PvE. In PvP the rules change again.

I made a video about woke political propaganda in games. If the game's characters had absolutely no references to their sexual preferences or other political propaganda - this video would not exist and I would still be playing the game. Watch it again and I am sure you will understand its message with that knowledge in mind.

If we had no information about any character's sexuality, you would never hear me ask or complain about it. So clearly I do not care about character sexuality, because if I did - I would ask about it or complain that it was never mentioned. I hope this clarification helps you understand the point better.

It was on offer during the blizzard spring sale, so a friend got it for me, since he really wanted us to play together. I was not happy, but decided to play it a bit - still am in fact - and it's disappointing on so many levels. What shocks me above all is that I have lag quite frequently! Usually 2-3 days a week (from the two weeks I have been playing so far).

@@GameFilter I played it Today for the first time, Was actually enjoying it But in 5 hours I got kicked out 6 times with NetWork Error. I pay $130 a month for “Good” Internet but as I mentioned here in Aus, there’s no such thing. I’d be Absolutely Fuming if I actually Paid for this game

It's very enjoyable, especially in coop and it offers pretty good replayability. If it's not too expensive, I would say - go for it! Especially if you can aim with a game pad - I am absolutely terrible at it :D

People give Doomsday too much of a hard time. Yes, it was no as good as the trilogy, but I still enjoyed it. I could also see myself enjoying a prequel of the game!

@@GameFilter oh I liked a lot of the story, but I felt that some of the timed puzzles were far harder than they needed to be and the gene splicer puzzle was impossible without a guide.

There's no way it can be perceived as tacked-on. Proof that preconceived notions stick, and stick *hard*, with some people.

The only effective petition is to not buy it. It's like when microsoft said that the new xbox was designed to only work with a kinnect, so it's not possible to sell it without. This is all a trick to make more money and if they see that the result is - less money, then they will step down. Same with Blizzard - they want to make more money with this, so the only way to convince them is to show them that it ends up making less money.

It's still a lot of fun!

I loved this game's gameplay - it was awesome. And now that the Farce that is Diablo IV has come out (which I still have not played since I refuse to pay for it) Grim Dawn looks even better in my eyes! However my criticism stands - it lacks polish when it comes to its story. And an RPG absolutely needs a good story in my eyes.

You get healed when you hit them. It's a way to help the player during the boss fight, but I rarely use them. Important - you have to be close to them when you pop them, cause the do a small area of effect heal around them, so if you are far, you don't get healed.

I think those first chapters are a good introduction for people who have not played the first game. For me and you, however, I agree that they are a bit slow.

This could be the reason. Unfortunately some characters get worse i-frames than others. What you can do now is pay attention to the indicators on the floor - they changed it and you can now see waves showing where it will hit you. Then you can just not go there.

I actually tried playing Daikatana (got it on GOG) and could not beat level 3 cause I got lost. Or maybe the game bugged out and something didn't open - no idea. Gave up in any case! 38 years old here! I appreciate a fellow who remembers the older generations of hardware!

I have not yet played the sequel, though I would love to at some point!

They are so incredibly satisfying when you get used to the gameplay. I am currently playing "Sons of the Forest" and loving it. But I get that it's not for everyone. Perhaps you could try "Return to Moria" - it's a bit less crazy. Or the first Subnautica? That one allows you to turn off the need to eat and drink. I think you might like it!

Personally, I enjoyed the 4th one as well, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Terrible take. Fourth one is brilliant, and I'm definitely no fan-boy. From what I've seen of Dep Doomsday critics, is that they tend to be upset that their work doesn't pay off - that everything unravels and is meaningless. Obviously, that that's just a failing on their part in only gaining enjoyment from a make-believe world with a contrived story, if it ends in a make-believe happy ending. If you can overcome those monkeybrain requirements that tarnish everything, you'll enjoy it.

I'm not the kind of person who enjoys throwing myself at something a hundred times to figure out how the mechanics work, but I want my first-clear rewards from each of the bosses. I've used your guides on almost all of them and they were so much more helpful than the others I've seen. I just have Gumiho and Oduksini left for c6s now thanks to you. (Gumiho I haven't tried yet and Oduksini is a huge struggle for me, possibly just a class issue tho)

@@Audifan8595 Oduksini is really tough for me too. I hate him. Gumiho on the other end is not very difficult once you understand the process. I even have a trick for her hardest phase (she splits into two foxes) which helps you cheese her into only attacking you with one of them, making one of her hardest phases trivial. So if you want to - you could do he first. I personally think she is easier.

Yep, Dead Island was more fun, especially since it worked well in multi-player coop (the different character abilities really complimented each other well).

It's a huge pain and I always have to wonder if I want to risk spoiling something (cause I assume I am stupid and simply not understanding what I am supposed to do) or not - so I waste a ton of time until I finally check the internet to see if it's really a bug! So glad I am not the only one! :D
