It's being straight forward....some folks aren't used to people speaking their mind... They assume you are angry when you speak your mind..... Either speak your mind or f*** off permanently

Thank you for sharing your story! I thought working at the VA was my dream job as well because ever since leaving the military, my goal has been to help other Veterans. I realized I can still help other Veterans outside of the VA and just resigned from my social work position. I will be starting my new therapist position at a group practice soon😊

❤ this OMG seriously my journey as I worked towards my LCSW as a black Woman. Those unsafe environments smdh and the repression out of fear of not being able to bring your dreams to reality! This right here spoke volumes to my soul thanks for your openness and for creating this safe space! I love it and it’s needed! ❤❤❤

Omg!!! lord, Jesus …. This is the most accurate description of what I have experienced over years of working for a government agency. You described everything perfectly. I am off work right now due to these exact issues and find it difficult to express this when asked about my pain, depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. The bottom line is we are disappointed , hurt by the disappointment and then gaslit. Thank you so much for this video.

I don't remember where I read this (admittedly it's been a while), but the source said that "anxiety" attacks aren't medically recognized like panic attacks are, essentially saying anxiety attacks aren't a real thing. This has been living in my head rent free ever since, as I've experienced both and they feel so different, but one isn't "real"? Can you help clarify this/offer additional insight? So glad I found your channel!
