There's some nice hiking trails up there, very remote
Wow looks amazing .
The area was really nice!
Gotta love the NYS forest land. Planning on checking this one out for the first time this week!
@@716_adventures3 enjoy yourself
way to many people at these sites. people bring thier campers and stay for weeks. they leave trash everywhere run generators all night. this place needs less people not more ive been coming there my whole life. before covid it was empty
Food always tastes better in the outdoors while it’s cold..
Just subscribed, love the Clarion river area. I did a 45 mile bike ride there a few years ago..
@@shawnkroh4677 thank you! You’re not wrong on the food tasting better either!
Wow. That's a beautiful spot you found, GT. This looks like a great place to bring a Skoolie!
@@HarmonyExpressSkoolie And there are plenty of spots there to fit said Skoolie!
@@GTOhio that’s AWESOME. It looked so beautiful down there. Thinking of later fall camping. Are there any dump stations near that rec area that we could get rid of our grey water?
@@HarmonyExpressSkoolie honestly I didn’t see one there, guess that goes with the pack it in pack it out philosophy
Great video of the area! I was car camping in C11 this very weekend!!! Not many people were out!
@@sastcook Thank you,
Awesome! Cheers!
I like your setup.
Maybe make a setup and take down video, explaining what you use - tables, chairs, popup , everything and how you like each piece and what and if you might do different. I’d like to see it.
@@tedjones112 sounds like a plan
@@tedjones112 thank you!
We had bought the same trailer in the beginning of this year. Love the durability and simplicity of the unit! Less setup and give us more time enjoying the outdoors. Also, downsized from a 23 ft travel trailer, and a family of 5 😅. Did not regret it! Thanks for sharing your content, love to see more!
looking to use for weekend trips...if choosing between it and more expensive comfy set up think u can do alot. Like haul a tentipi with it...since off roading. Better than canvas wall tent..one person set up...if need something in case of high winds, can do an open fire in it. Shelter from bugs. i do a screen photo of comments, so use later I cant remember myself all tech tips ok to skip just if interested into running high watt appliances with solar helpful if live outside any towns and have to travel for groceries monthly. Could hook up batteries to be charged by truck alternator. Nicer to set up camp with already cool rv. Can do a solar system to handle 6000 btu ac, many will fit into 14x 14 vent opening. People have put small wood stove in a Scamp fiberglass trailer so could custom cut a roof opening. They also sell fiberglass repair kits for boats so might help for trailers. Neat idea to use a portable lightweight 600 watt solar panel kit to set on ground, get more energy by moving with sun. Seen listings on Amazon for panels. Also lets u put rv in shade or do shade sails. Dakota Lithium sells batteries to power air conditioner and is about $8000 investment. Also later can get tax refund. Could also do a diesel running generator for winter use of heat pump. Seen Generac on Amazon that can run 16 hours using 12 gallons 5000 watt. Dakota Li suggests on website 3 ...1280 watt hour 12V 280 Ah battery bank to use 13,500 btu. They can work in -20°F. "How To Choose a Lithium Battery for RVs, Campers & Vans Dakota Li" Can also copy & paste other article into google "Dakota Li Can I run my RV or Boat’s Air Conditioner on Battery Power?" gives chart of air conditioner btu with battery bank the url for 13,500 btu takes you to 320 Ampere hour, energy= 3840Wh page and not 280 Ah as shown in chart. 320 Ah weighs 65 pounds. about $2400 Could ask company if this battery alone is enough amp hour for appliances want, like 500 watts to run 3.3 cu fridge, start up compressor and fridge running watts), the 8000 btu ac, and electric heater. Solar tip for off road ac unit 10 Best Air Conditioners for Small RVs Like Truck Campers and Vans by truckcamper adventure Amana 8000 Wall Mount (AC)8,000 BTU 5.8 amps AC (64 amps DC) you will need to power this unit with a lithium battery bank of at least 300 amp hours along with a 2,000 watt inverter at a minimum though a 3,000 watt inverter would be better. " Looks like one in Coleman 1400 bh Also, just speaking of green energy... If have acreage... nice to look into biofuel convertor about 13000 usd. Use for tractors, yard gardening equipment. Get used restaurant oil as they pay to remove it. Removes smog, and nice to use biofuel in diesel generator. Works in diesel engines, so could run a truck. I am looking into building a small house on land with no codes, some counties near coastal Nova Scotia allow & I like this trailer for its fun teardrop back kitchen design. Nice as cool out "shed" I think towing it with a hybrid Ford Maverick light truck could work. Tows 4000 pounds. Not option now as Ford factory in Mexico has long wait list schedule. The maverick would let u tow using 18 mpg instead of 10 mpg. For me, thinking on move to north, like Canada built 🍎 Chrysler Pacifica minivan as nice option. 🍎
Thank you!!!! I just bought it! I assume just trining the fridge to 0 means that is off for when I am not using it? Also great idea with that rug! Thanks again!

Are you going back to Kelly's Island anymore this year
@@donniemabry1470 I don’t know if we will make it out there this year, we went to the outer banks instead of Kelley’s Island in May, and too many family plans with a grand baby on the way so we shall see.
I live about an hour away from there. Take a gander of pine creek Pennsylvania. It is beautiful up here too.
@@jennyhackenberg I’ve backpacked the West Rim Trail and it is truly beautiful in that area.
@GTOhio cool. Yes it is. Where you was, was very peaceful though.
You will like land between the lakes we were there a couple years ago. We stayed at Hillman Ferry campground
Boy, what a beautiful area of PA. It is now on our list of places to try!!!
Looks good GT, we were in Loleta Campground during the same time. Glad yinz had a good time.
Its a very beautiful area, I think I may have seen 20% of it if I was lucky. I will be going back again this year, fall should look God!
God bless you too!!
Looks like you had a good trip. we just got back a month on the road South Dakota MI and back to Pennsylvania.
We've stayed at Black Forest many times over the years. We really like it.😊
Glad to see you back was wondering if you were ok . Going to the ANF July 4th week can’t wait .
Thanks! I’ve been out between the last two videos, just didn’t record anything. Family trip to the outer banks and just wanted to chill. Hope you have a great trip!

Not hot once you remove the seeds!
Hope all is well haven’t seen you in awhile.
Did you have the little shelf (totally useless) that came with the 2022 over the bed? If so, did you remove it and how?
No, this is a 2019.5, I did add another shelf, wider, above the bed for clothes baskets
Wow I bet this would have looked amazing up in the ANF 🤩
Oh boy! I have a relative in Grafton! Hopefully she saw it. Thanks!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!😊
I love to see a video of how you keep your grill clean I love your grill I heard they are hard to keep cleaned can't wait to see your next Kelly's Island video hope you do some fishing next visi there.
I just use water, paper towels and one of the spatulas, and you have to make sure the griddle is hot, then I just coat it with veggie oil
I heard people say water make a grill rust bad
@@donniemabry1470 once it is seasoned, and seasoned correctly, it won’t rust
