Atlanta is ghetto, overhyped, and the people are weird! Nothing to do but drink. I hate I left Dallas but would gladly go back. Not to mention I’m a teacher and these kids are grades behind. You pay 2k for a dump and homeless and crackheads live in your garage/ doorstep!

Have visited and lived in Bay Area. But never visited Atlanta or Dallas. Knowing what I know, I think I’d prefer Dallas. But I don’t do bugs and critters coming from cold and snowy Colorado soooo that’s that lol

The only reason I don’t have an issue in ATL…..I roll SOLO. I was in the Navy here in the early 2000s, and just moved back in 2022 from DFW. I am originally from Oakland. If you are single but aren’t good as a hermit, you will feel isolated. You really want to have a profession already established. I work 1pm to 8 pm 3 days a week so I avoid traffic. I shop at ALDI. I stay in and cook at home. I only frequent occasional house music events and park in pay lots. I get up to the mountains and the Chattahoochee for nature outings. Rent from private property owners if possible. Keep your life simple and you can enjoy it.

Norcross is not Atlanta. You gotta live inside the perimeter if you want a true ATL experience.

At least the lady that posted this video left Atlanta and then complained about the city. But y’all transplants that moved here and trash our city, why don’t you just move the heck back to where you’re from? I’m a native Atlantan and we were quite fine until everybody started bull rushing here. As a result it’s one of the worst cities to live. It’s to the point that myself, born and raised in Atlanta since 1963, is seriously thinking about moving away. I like the old Atlanta where it was laid back, less traffic, inexpensive nice homes less crime. Now it’s nothing like what I’m used to and it’s amazing how many people have moved here in the past 7 yrs and even now I constantly see every day so many out of town license plates: Calif, TX, FLA, N.C., NY, NJ, IL, TN, AL, I constantly see these plates all over Atlanta. I prefer the laid back style life. Now it’s like everybody’s driving crazy always in rush. WE’RE FULL!!! MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

There's roaches where I live now 🙄but I live alone in a Bachelor apartment. I'm in Canada though and I moved from a major city in April because I couldn't afford my own apartment there and the apartment I shared was not ideal plus my roommate was a low-key psychopath older guy. It was on the second floor of a townhouse. I plan to leave the current place once I can comfortable afford a better apartment (ideally a one bedroom)

Let me tell you about my experience moving to Atlanta. As a young man, I moved to Atl right after graduating from an HBCU (TSU) and had a tough time finding work in the field my degree was in. I worked jobs ((in addition to partying often and having a great time despite not being where I wanted to be), not a career. However, I stayed the course and finally got my break after some years. When I found the stability I was searching for, I bought a house and started looking for a wife after some years of simply having fun. My first real relationship failed after 4 years. I started dating a woman again 4 months later, got engaged 1 year after and got married to a physician a year after the engagement. I started a photo booth business after getting married in addition to working FT. Now we have a beautiful child and that house I bought is rental property earning us a nice extra stream of income. I established a network that presented an opportunity for yet another stream of income. Life isn't always perfect but it sure is great. Moral of the story, it's what you make it. Be realistic, have a plan, live intentionally and by all means...have some self ACCOUNTABILITY! I understand and appreciate people doing what's best for them. At the same time, so tired of these videos that seem to place the blame for what went wrong on Atlanta...lol.. This is an awesome city where so many black people are THRIVING and not just surviving!
