too much yeast will spoil the dough and make it really gross in a few ways. If you have a clear jug/cup and add a little warm water to it then add a little bit of your fully made dough and the bit in the warm water rises to the top it is a good amount of yeast. if not.. too little or too much . The name of the yeast used in bread , mostly , these days has a funny name .. Saccharomyces cerevisiae . The general amount of yeast to use is around 1-2% of the flour by weight
Incredible information!! Thank you 💛🫶🏽

hi mam what is the oil you use for making basil oil, is it coconut oil? and do i need to tinture 1st the basil leaves before pouring oil?
Hi! I used avocado oil here. It’s my favorite for oil infusions. It’s a bit lighter and more absorbent than olive oil and coconut oil and has a very neutral smell. Dehydrating the basil leaves before pouring the oil is the only requirement. 🙌🏽
How many days/weeks to soak the dehydrating leaves in oil?
I like to infuse the leaves in the oil for 4 weeks. You can do a little less or a little more (anywhere between 3-8 weeks is usually fine). 4 weeks makes a nice, strong oil. Make sure to shake the jar once a day or at least a couple times a week to help the infusion process! 💛
Mam the 1st time, i hear tincture and search here in youtube how the process, i thought only vodca can mix at herbs but even oil?
@@InaMaggiendaBoth alcohol and oil are used separately to create two different kinds of herbal preparations. Alcohol and oil each extract different kinds of constituents from the herbs. A tincture is an alcohol extraction of herbal medicine and is most commonly taken internally. An herbal oil is an oil infusion that is most commonly applied topically to the skin. So, depending what kind of medicine you want to make and what you're planning to use it for, you can choose to infuse an herb in either oil or alcohol, but both solvents (alcohol and oil) are not part of the same process. Herbal oils and tinctures are two different processes and create two different kinds of medicine. I hope that is helpful! <3 What are you interested in making? An oil or a tincture?
Do they grow back once harvested?
Yes they do :)
This can be tinctures fresh. It’s better that way.
Where did you get the Aztec part from?
Mexican
@@byzer1 ? No
@@Syndogon yes
@@byzer1 no, mexicas didn't used this plant, the wixarika did. Aztec are not a people but an empire.
